šYesterday in Cape May was such a blessing.š
I came home tired, but my heart was SO full. Days like this remind me why I love doing what I do.
Itās not just about selling felt things. Itās about the little moments and the stories behind the things people choose ā¦ and of course getting to spend the day with Mr. Sheep Farm Felt. ā¤ļø
A woman bought a husky ornament for her daughter, whose college mascot is a husky.
Someone picked out Pocket Pals for her niece, who was expecting a baby after a long and difficult journey with infertility. Knowing that little gift was going to be part of such a special season of their lives was incredibly meaningful.
Then there was the woman who came to my show last year looking for a moose. I had to sadly tell her I didnāt have one. This year, I DID. When she saw it, she was so excitedāand I was just as excited to be able to say, āI have one this year!ā
A family bought 10 sets of magnets to give as Christmas gifts, and they were so tickled by them and already couldnāt wait to give them away.
And then there were all the little moments in betweenāgetting to see the delight on someoneās face when they find the perfect thing, giggling with people over Planter Eyeballs, and getting to say āGO BIRDS!ā to so many Eagles fans.
Those are the moments I treasure.
We also debuted our new booth setup yesterday, and I am ECSTATIC with how it turned out. Of course, Iāve already come home with a list of things I want to tweak and improve for the next show. Because apparently I can never just leave well enough alone.
But thatās part of the fun.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, chatted with me, laughed with me, shopped with me, and shared a little piece of your story. You made yesterday such a beautiful day.
