In 1983, Kathleen Redmond started Magnolia Lane as a one person business in San Francisco. Over the next 29 years the business expanded from an in-home studio to an 11,000 square foot office, showroom, workroom, and warehouse space. Magnolia Lane is an internationally known corporation that fabricates custom curtains, shades, bedding, pillows, cushions, etc. We work directly with residential & com

mercial interior designers, architects and retail clients. Magnolia Lane Soft Home Furnishings, Inc. is an internationally known soft goods fabricator of custom draperies, shades, valances, pillows, coverlets, duvet covers, bedskirts, table covers, slipcovers and cushions; a full service workroom, managing each project from the initial consultation, to measures, fabrication and installation. Kathleen Redmond founded Magnolia Lane 35 years ago in San Francisco. She learned to sew as a young child and discovered that her talent and creativity could transform homes and businesses into beautiful environments. She started by single-handedly measuring, sewing and installing every project. This has evolved to her current workroom and staff of fine project managers and seamstresses. Magnolia Lane works directly with residential and commercial interior designers and architects, as well as retail clients, in the finest private homes and commercial properties worldwide. Kathleen and her team are committed to serving their clients and helping them fulfill their dreams of creating beautiful environments that enhance their well-being.
