Truly had the best day subbing in second grade today! The best thing of subbing is not being strapped to one grade/room. I’m all over which means I know every kid. I’ve been subbing for 3 years and had these second graders all 3 of those years! How cool is that to watch them grow all through elementary school?!! I can honestly say that subbing is the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done!

After school all day, all of this candy still needs made. Soooo, it will be ready for you tomorrow at open shop! I’ll open before I leave for school at 7:30am-8pm.
Pumpkin Rolls, 3 kinds of double doozies, fudge and more!

Does anyone else have their parents and grandparents handwrite your favorite recipes they make for you to keep?
I have some from my husbands granny and my mom. One day when we get the shop kitchen fixed up, I’ll have them framed on the wall.
They’ll be the sweetest memories.
I’m making my granny’s dressing today. She used to be able to whip up a huge dinner like no one I’ve ever seen. Now, we’re taking dinner to her. She’s the one who taught us how to make most of our candy over 15 years ago. I’ll never forget being in her kitchen trying to whip up what we could for our first quilt festival. ❤️
Thankful for her wisdom.

What’s something your family makes that you will carry on?
