The Doral Academy Craft Fair is exactly one month away — November 14th, 10 to 3, and I'll be there with a booth full of handmade goodness.

Keep digging and look what turns up — the whole pumpkin stash. Fabric ones, crocheted ones, every shade of fall. These have been tucked away since the Painted Tree days and I'd honestly forgotten how many there were.

A little shop honesty 🏷️

If the shop's looked a little bare lately — that was on purpose.

I made a big call: Farm District Crafts is going strictly ready-to-ship. No more made-to-order waits, no more wondering. If it's listed, it's in my hands, and it ships.

That meant pulling just about everything down and checking every piece against what's actually here — which, let's be real, means digging through tote bags, boxes, and more totes. 😅 Turns out I had things listed in 20 colors with... let's just say the inventory tracking was aspirational.

The Fall Sweater Drop is back up, with more coming back every day. And up next: fall accessories, winter wear, and decor. What you see is what's ready — that's the promise now.

Thanks for hanging in through the regroup. The shop's better for it. 💛

Fall break isn't over yet — but we're home and the office is back open! 🎉

The crochet backpack came home heavier than it left (that's how it works, right?), and now it's order-fulfillment time. Everything placed while I was gone is getting packed up and shipped out this week.

Throwback Monday 👗

I was scrolling through old photos looking for something else entirely — you know how it goes, one minute you're looking for a picture of a cardigan and the next you're three years deep in your camera roll — and I fell straight into my Barbie couture era.

Crocheted wedding dresses. Sewn gowns with the tiniest stitches you've ever seen. Little handbags that could barely hold a dime. I made all of it, and I was so proud of every single piece.

I've been crocheting since the 80s. Just a kid crafter who never outgrew her granny hobbies — and honestly? I hope I never do.

Somewhere along the way the dolls got swapped for cardigans, but the feeling is exactly the same: make something with your hands, love every stitch of it.

Meet the sunset cardigan. Four colors, one sky: earthy browns at the center, blue sky, a blazing orange sunset, and night rolling in at the edges — with the trim going full midnight.

The days are holding onto the 90s like summer never left, but the nights scream fall. This sweater is summer colors wrapping you in a hug from fall's crisp air.

In the bag this weekend — let's see how far it gets.

Out of office! 🍂

The family's enjoying some time together for fall break. The shop stays OPEN while we're out of office — I'll start shipping orders on Wednesday.

I've got my travel bag packed full of yarn to keep me busy... hopefully for the whole trip. Don't be surprised if works-in-progress start popping up in stories.

Big news, friends — I'm going to be a vendor! 🎉

Doral Academy is holding their craft fair on November 14th (10am–3pm), and Farm District Crafts will have a booth there. Yes, at my daughter's school. Yes, she thinks it's cool. (Okay, she thinks the plushies are cool. I'll take it.)

I'm already up to my elbows in inventory — cardigans, loaf kitty plushies, and whatever else I can finish between now and then. If you're local, come say hi, squish the yarn, and find something handmade to take home.

Save the date: November 14th, Doral Academy of Northern Nevada.
