A little Shed life update
At the beginning of this year, I made the decision to close our retail storefront for a while. After years of juggling both the storefront and our online business, I needed to slow down and create some breathing room for my family, our team, and honestly... myself.
Around that same time, Bryce’s accident changed our plans. I had hoped we’d reopen for our annual Mother’s Day event, but between his recovery and everything else life brought our way, it just wasn’t the right time. Thankfully, Bryce has made incredible progress and is back on his feet. We’re so grateful.
One thing that never stopped was our workshop. We’ve continued designing, building, and shipping orders every week, and I’m so thankful for everyone who has continued to support us online. Whether you’ve placed an order, shared our business, or simply followed along, it means more than you know. Custom orders are always welcome, and if you’re local, you’re welcome to pick up your orders here at the shop.
A few weeks ago, we transformed the storefront for my sister’s bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, and wedding. It reminded me just how much I love seeing this space filled with people.
While I’m still not quite ready to reopen the storefront, I am excited to share what’s next. This fall, we’re hoping to bring back our The Shed events, and we’re also opening the space for daytime rentals! If you’re planning a bridal shower, baby shower, birthday party, graduation party, small business event, or another intimate celebration, we’d love to be part of it. Tables and chairs are included, and the space is a beautiful blank canvas ready to make your own.
I’m grateful for this season, for a little more balance, and for the opportunity to watch this space take on a new purpose.
Our 2026 has been full of flowers, kittens, wedding celebrations, DIY projects, baby chicks, hard work, beautiful sunsets, and so much more. I know I haven’t posted much lately, and I’m excited to share more from around here.
