Some days remind you why you believe in a brand in the first place.

Brady and I had the opportunity to visit Hunter Douglas in Broomfield, Colorado, where we toured the facility and took part in a roundtable discussion with their team.

I’ve always been a firm believer in the Hunter Douglas brand, but seeing the manufacturing process firsthand gave me an entirely new appreciation for what goes into these products.

Watching their proprietary materials move through the facility and ultimately become beautifully engineered shades was nothing short of remarkable. The combination of innovation, precision, technology, and craftsmanship that goes into every product is truly impressive.

It’s easy to admire a finished shade in a home or design showroom. It’s something entirely different to see the engineering and expertise behind it—and to witness just how much thought goes into creating a product that performs as beautifully as it looks.

I left the tour even more impressed with Hunter Douglas than I was walking in—and that says a lot.

Grateful for the opportunity to get behind the scenes, learn from the people who make it happen, and continue to see what’s possible when design and innovation come together.

Road trip day! 🚛✨

Today we’re in Omaha picking up the beautiful new displays that will soon have a new home in our Spirit Lake showroom.

A huge thank you to Okoboji Moving Services for making the trip and moving everything safely. It couldn’t be done without great partners like them!

It’s exciting to see this vision finally coming together. After months of planning, it’s starting to feel real.

Next stop… home! Then the fun begins as we build the new showroom. We can’t wait to share the transformation with all of you.

Today the studio feels a little different… it’s officially EMPTY. 👀

The old displays are gone, the walls are bare, and we’re in full “clean slate” mode as we get everything ready for the next phase of our showroom refresh.

Standing here today takes me right back to seven years ago when I first unlocked the door to this empty space. Back then, all I had was a vision, a whole lot of hope, and so much excitement for what this studio could become.

Looking around now, I can’t help but feel incredibly grateful. These past seven years have been filled with amazing clients, beautiful projects, friendships, growth, challenges, and blessings beyond what I could have imagined. Thank you to every single person who has been part of this journey.

Now, here we are again… with empty walls, open space, and that same feeling of possibility. ✨

There’s something special about a fresh start. Right now it’s sweeping, wiping, organizing, and dreaming about what’s next.

I can’t wait to share the transformation with you. Stay tuned… the next chapter is about to begin! 🤍

Today is the beginning of a new chapter for our studio.

Our longtime displays are heading out, making room for an exciting showroom refresh that’s been in the works! While it’s a little bittersweet to see them go, we’re so happy they’ll have a second life at NextGen Home Decor in Harlan, Iowa, where they’ll continue helping homeowners find beautiful window treatment solutions.

Supporting fellow small businesses is always a win in our book. 🤍

Now the fun begins! Over the next few days, you’ll see a little less “beautiful showroom” and a little more “organized chaos” as we build something new.
