A decade ago, I discovered the therapeutic power of crochet as a new mom in college, and it has been a transformative journey ever since. Starting with blankets, I thought I'd found my niche, but my grandma's request for practical items like dish towels and scrubbers opened doors to new creations - from scrunchies to beanies and eventually amigurumi. The real game-changer was mosaic crochet, particularly overlay mosaic, which allowed me to weave images and words into my work. Now, I'm excited to revisit blankets with renewed passion. I've had the privilege of testing this stunning dodo overlay mosaic blanket, and I'm eager to see it finished.

I established this business driven by a passion for creating items that bring joy to others. Throughout my entrepreneurial journey, I've had the privilege of witnessing numerous smiles. Yesterday, however, was a particularly poignant moment. As a vendor at the Tacoma Halloween Parade, a customer visited my booth and was captivated by my miniature red grim reaper keychain. Although he lacked funds, an innovative solution emerged. He proposed exchanging handmade candy-themed bracelets for the item. After negotiating with my husband, we reached a mutually beneficial agreement, swapping the grim reaper for a unique candy corn cuff. This transaction reinforced my conviction that this business transcends monetary value, focusing instead on the happiness it generates among customers.
