People ask why we sell Hunter Douglas. Mainly peace of mind. If you're investing in beautiful custom window shades, you want to know they will last and Hunter Douglas has your back with their Lifetime Limited Warranty! Here's what it covers for the original retail purchaser:

Defects in materials or workmanship
Failure to operate under normal use
All internal mechanisms
Brackets and components
Fabric delamination (that peeling/separation issue)

Plus:
Operational cords are covered for 7 years
Motorized components are covered for 5 years Repairs or replacements are made with like or similar parts/products.

What's NOT covered? Normal wear and tear, abuse, accidents, misuse, exposure to the elements (sun damage, moisture, etc.), fading/discoloration, or improper installation/cleaning.

Ida and Norma's is a certified Hunter Douglas repair center meaning we have all the knowledge and parts needed to keep your shades in top shape for many years. If you purchase your shades from us we will never charge you for the repair and will repair your shades well past the warranty.
