Trovato Interiors was designed as a stage for seeking both excellence and pleasure in the homes we create. The boutique style setting is intimate in scale, but broad in possibility, as the furnishings are merely representative of what is possible with a custom approach. Excellence requires neither extensive time nor money, but some heart and vision are necessary. What makes them special in ways that can't just be defined by good design principles? The pursuit of that enigma is the guiding force behind Trovato Interiors.

In conclusion: yes, the summer of 2026 was amazing, just as I had hoped. Barely over a week ago I was enjoying a barbecue on the boat on beautiful Coeur D’Alene Lake, soaking up warm sun. Just days later, I sense a frost coming. I harvested my basil this morning, hanging tw**e tied bunches from my cabinet k***s to dry. I brought my pot of rosemary to Trovato to enjoy winter in the passive solar entry. And the velvet! Velvet slippers, velvet robes, velvet skirts, velvet throws…never too much. So…I am committing here and now to a WONDERFULfall! Why not? Join me?

Autumn entertaining feels like homecoming. We’re eating indoors again, gathering around the table, donning sweaters. Beautiful serve ware elevates even the simplest sharing of w**e and cheese. Here you see the last set of gold edged Tiffin glasses, stacks of discontinued Wedgwood, paperwhites and hyacinth, deer, and berries. Enjoy!

The cozy season is upon us. You up for it? Count me in! We are warming things up here at Trovato Interiors with texture and color. This Norwalk custom sectional has all the feel goods: deep cushy seating, ultra soft fabric, velvet pillows in stunning colors. The throw is hand blocked cotton. Come have a sit!

I have had some wonderful client interactions lately — the kind that remind me why I wanted to open my shop in the first place. My style is not quite the beaten path, at least here locally. It can be a bit lonely not doing what everyone else is doing. But then someone comes in who ‘gets’ what’s happening here in my uniquely beautiful space and I am happy. 😃 I just love to share velvets and linens, old paintings, crystal chandeliers, blue and white china, silver food domes, hand woven and blocked cotton throws, statues, baskets, painted trays. And of course I adore designing custom sofas, chairs, sectionals, and ottomans for those of you who, like me, don’t want what all your neighbors have. Good times!
