New handwoven baby blankets available in my shop! Made with 100% U.S.-grown cotton, the yarn for these blankets was spun and dyed in a mill right here in North Carolina! Soft, colorful, and subtly textured, these blankets are generously sized for the best cuddles, picnics, and naps!

I’m nearing the point where the first batch of these towels needs to come off the loom. As the fabric wrap around the cloth beam and the roll gets bigger, it starts to interfere with the first shaft. One or two more towels and then it’s time to cut the first batch off.

A quick morning hike in the Pisgah National Forest. I thought I would have to wait until next winter to use this cowl, but I guess I was wrong!

Finally getting the snow they promised us last weekend. Our new cat* doesn’t seem bothered.

*He showed up at our house about a week ago and inserted himself into feeding time next to our other cats. He hasn’t left since and is acting like he’s been here all along.
