These interior doors needed something on them for privacy, but the homeowner didn't want a plain white frost. Solyx SXGF-0097 (Deep Etch) complements the color of these door frames as well as the carpet. It's hard to see in these photos, but this film has a very subtle silver glitter appearance. As a side note, I should probably invest in new blankets.😄

Here's another front entry door that was wide open with zero privacy. Solyx SX-1544 (Rain Glass) was installed to provide some privacy while remaining classy.

The set of three panes are clear glass that needed to be filmed with a decorative film to match the adjacent pane with obscure glass. Solyx SX-0044 (Stucco Ice) was the closest match to the texture. It was incredibly cheaper to film the glass rather than replace the windows with the same obscure glass.

Some windows and entrances needed full privacy during both day and night at this new facility. Whiteout (or white opaque) was used to achieve this while still letting some light shine inward. The glass is bronze-tinted, so the white film shows up as light tan on the exterior. It goes really well with the building.

Vista V28 was just installed in this entire home while the new homeowners are giving it a full makeover before completely moving in. I installed this same film in their previous home in Springboro almost a decade ago and they loved the overall performance and appearance. It's a medium shade of dual-reflective with a cool tone to complement the gray tones in their decor. It was really nice to do the job without any obstacles. This home has almost 700 square feet of glass and I was able to get it done in 2 1/2 days because of zero things being in the way.

This entire home now has Vista V45 installed to protect from UV light, while also adding some daytime privacy, glare, and solar control. The windows are Pella with removable muntins, so they're not as visible from the exterior with tinting on the glass.

This window set is southern facing and allowed too much solar heat gain and brightness. The area is being converted from a break room into an exam room and daytime privacy is going to be needed. ASWF Daydream 5 was used as it's the darkest dual-reflective film with a very nice appearance inside and out.

This new conference room desperately needed privacy and glare control. Llumar RN07 was used to follow suit with other windows in the building that were previously done. The color goes well with the cooler gray tones. It's the northern elevation, so solar heat gain is not an issue. If it was, this film would knock out over 80% of it.

It's been a busy year, but now the schedule is quite booked for several weeks. Good things come to those who wait.

08/16/2026

The back side of this home was too bright and hot during sunny mornings while peering out toward the golf course. Llumar DRN35 was used to reduce the bright glare while still allowing plenty of light inward, and reducing the solar heat gain by a little over half. As always, UV protection is >99%.
