Unpopular opinion:
“Take your hat off at my table” isn’t about respect — it’s a power move.
A hat doesn’t change how kind, present, or appreciative someone is. It doesn’t make the meal better. It doesn’t show character.
It just says: this is my house, my rules, comply.
Real respect is how you treat people — not whether fabric is on their head.
If the rule matters more than the relationship, that’s not manners… that’s control.
Just sayin’. 🧢

3 cups flour
Tsp salt
Tsp baking powder
Tsp baking soda
2 Sticks butter (room temp)
1 cup sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
Measure chocolate chips with your heart.

Perfect chocolate chip cookie 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪 🍪

Preheat oven to 350
1: Mix your dry flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in one bowl, set aside
2: , In a different bowl mix together your butter, sugar, and brown sugar until it's nice and creamy and then add your eggs and vanilla extract into it.
3: Slowly fold your flour mix into your creamy sugar mix.
4: Add chocolate chips with that last bit of flour folding.
I like to bake mine after they are in the refrigerator for a few hours for about 13 min. Before I put them in I like to add extra chocolate chips on top of each ball of dough.
