Took advantage of the warm weather today and potted 100+ Dahlia tubers!
I won’t need to water them until I start seeing green sprouts. Pretty soon, they’ll be in the ground and growing like crazy! 🌼

These seeds did so well the previous year in our wildflower patch! Can’t wait to plant them and see these beauties bloom...

Took advantage of the weather to plant out our Spring/cool hardy seedlings! 🌱
In this mix you’ll see foxglove, lisianthus, snapdragons, forget-me-nots, stock, and sweet William. I will also be planting my winter sown seedlings in this section since they are also cold hardy.
We can’t wait to see much earlier blooms this season! 🌼

Finding the Wizard of Oz Dahlia variety at the grocery store felt like hitting the jackpot! I put these in pots of soil and have them sitting by a sunny window. I won’t water them until I see green sprouts. Doing this is a great way to get a jumpstart into the flower season! Fingers crossed these will do just as well as the ones coming from the wholesaler 🤞🏻

These trays here are filled with strawflower, salvia, and statice.
About 10 other varieties will be started within the next couple of days! 💐
