I haven’t been posting much since the felon was elected. It’s truly soul crushing to know what’s happening in Gaza, to see the voting rights act summarily cancelled, to have concentration camps and an unnecessary war syphoning away our tax dollars, while our nation’s most vulnerable populations are suffering terribly. To understand the enormity of the GOP grift while every day reading posts sharing tips on living in your car, and making grocery dollars stretch. And of course watching the meager environmental protections we have being viscously dismantled. Did I mention the dire warnings about the dangers of AI coming from the very experts who have been testing it?
My happy place most springs is yanking weeds in the garden, and while I haven’t had much time for it this year, I thought I’d share some pics. I hope my perennials might bring some beauty to your feed and lift your spirits in the way they’ve lifted mine during this tumultuous time.
