I am so excited! Last night for the first time in months I got 5 hours of sleep (been only getting 2-4 hours) mild nausea (usually very severe when I hook up feeds) and no being physically sick or needing to drain my g tube (usually do this several times a night during feeds)! That’s a big win for my body! I pray it continues this way. We are also looking into a different formula for my feeds as dietitian and I agree my body does not tolerate this one very well. I’m starting to see a glimpse of light on this very rough health challenge! 💚💜💛

My sweet boy has such a big heart. He likes to help me feel better. So he lays with me and brushes my hair which oddly helps my migraines. ❤️

My sweet girl stays with me when Paul and Isaac goes out so she can help me with whatever I need and keep me company. It can get very lonely on this road. 🥰

My amazing husband does anything and everything to help me. From laundry and cooking to sitting with me, holding my hand and praying with me! 🫶

The two older boys check in on me and even do random drop bys to say hi and check in. Means the world to me! ❤️
Thank you God for blessing me with an amazing family! 🫶

I deeply apologize but my shop has been closed since December due to my poor health condition and surgeries. I will hopefully reopen when things get better. But for now I am not taking orders. If I happen to make something I want to sell I will post here and on marketplace. Thank you for your understanding! This has been a rough year and 1/2. And I appreciate your support through this all. 💜💚💛

Update:

Having a mostly paralyzed stomach is such a difficult situation. As much as I HATE my feeding tubes they are currently keeping me alive and for that I am thankful. While I did get the okay to start eating again, I can only get a few bites in before feeling sick. To make it more fun I’m back to losing whatever I eat. So yep I utterly hate tube feeding but as of right now it’s the only thing keeping me alive. Gastroparesis is a horrible disease! To all my warriors keep fighting! 💚

So I’m having a decent day and with Christmas coming around couldn’t really afford to get my hair done, soooooo I didn’t myself. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I like the color but it’s probably more highlighted as apparently I didn’t color it all 🤔 what do you think? Be honest! 🤦🏻‍♀️ that way I know if I need to be saving up to get it fixed. 😜

A little bit of makeup to look 1/2 human tonight. So proud of my baby girl for stepping out of her comfort zone and performing in Cinderella! More pics to come! Now praying I make it through with no incidents.

What a great reminder as we start a new week and month. It’s normal to grieve your old life before you became ill. Allow yourself to grieve, be angry, cry and miss your old life. It’s okay to not be okay! But then start finding your new self. Your new life. Your new normal and empress it. We got this!

A much needed break from the house but only lasted a few hours before I needed to go home. But lots of fun time had by all. Now to just rest. Being chronically ill stinks and steals so much of your life that you learn to embrace the good moments! 🥰

Saw home health yesterday and was talking about how I felt sad that I couldn’t do what I loved any more and how I was too young to deal with all this health stuff. She suggested find 1 thing to do for myself each day to help me feel more normal. My love is makeup. So today’s goal was to do my makeup. It did help me feel a little bit better. 🙃

First In home nurse visit today if you could lift a prayer that they can help keep me out of hospital, I would greatly appreciate it. I also see neurologist this afternoon and praying he can figure out the zaps in my head that sometimes goes into my body making me fall. I’m so exhausted and in so much pain today that I would rather be in my bed but this is important so here we go!
