Hello everyone!🙋🏽♀️
I’d like to take the time to thank ya’ll for liking my page. I created this page last year to run a fundraiser for a mission trip, and would like to say thank you to everyone who was a part of that!🙌🏻 And, I have to admit, I haven’t been very active with my page, but I’d like to share a part of my story of why I decided to start this type of business.👩🏽🎨
Growing up, I had a lot of fear in my heart.💔Failure and doubt were always lurking around the corner, waiting for me to fall. And eventually I did, many times.... more than I can admit!🤷🏽♀️
What I did not know at that time was that falling was not of importance, but how I got back up was. I went through life not knowing the true strength that derived from inside of me, because I was running on my own strength. Jesus IS the source of that strength that raises me up. When Jesus was forced to take that long journey to Calvary, He fell, with the cross that I should of bore, but continued, beaten and bleeding to be crucified for our sins. A man here on earth and a son of the Father in heaven, He for took all that for us, so that we may continue on the path He laid down. A path not shaken or broken, but unfaltering! He made it so that I don’t have to worry about my failures or doubts continuing to define me, but to shape me.
“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” - Psalm 73:26
My failures and doubts about myself have been my greatest struggle to sometimes continue forward in life. Always afraid for success because of failure. Always thinking I’m not enough......, but Jesus is enough!!!
The good Father has given me a great gift, a passion for Art.🎨 Something I didn’t appreciate before. But having a passion for something doesn’t always mean anything if you don’t act upon what’s been given. Just like the life of a Believer. The Holy Spirit resides in us; He fills us when we come and trust in Him, “ask and you will receive”. I’m merely a vessel to be filled through my failures and weaknesses. We will fail in life, but our good Father will not, and He will sustain us!
“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
II Corinthians 12:9
Aside from many obstacles I had to overcome the past year, the Lord has been good and faithful!🙏🏻 His work in me has already shown through the people He has blessed with my wood burning work. I chose scripture because it is God’s precious Word of Life.
It is “...alive and active” -Hebrews 4:12
“The grass withers; the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.”
Isaiah 40:8
But other than enjoying what I do, Jesus has been my strength and my courage in overcoming my fears of failure and sharing God’s truths through the gift I’ve been given. Jesus reminds me of what I can accomplish and overcome when I place my trust in Him. Whatever path God leads me, I will follow; I will not be fearful!
Your support is greatly appreciated!😊 Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
I pray God bless you with His sufficient grace and love in your journey. MAY HIS WORD BE A LAMP UNTO YOUR FEET AND A LIGHT UNTO YOUR PATH!!!🌟 May His truths continue to reside in your homes.
-In God we trust, in Jesus we place our faith!
JESUS IS MY SAVIOR!❤️
