Gloss and Grit Epoxy – Commission-Based Referral Program
Gloss and Grit Epoxy is offering a commission-based referral opportunity for individuals who want to earn income by helping generate epoxy flooring projects. This program is open to approved participants who actively refer, network, or assist in closing residential and commercial flooring jobs.
This program is designed to be flexible. Your involvement can be as simple as making a referral or as hands-on as assisting throughout the sales process or fully closing a deal. Any method that results in a completed and paid epoxy flooring project may qualify for commission.
Program Overview
• Applies to both residential and commercial epoxy flooring projects
• Minimum qualifying project size: 100 square feet
• All participants operate as 1099 independent contractors
• Participation requires prior discussion and a signed agreement
Qualifying Projects
Commission applies to approved projects with the following exclusions:
• Projects with pre-existing water damage
• Projects where the concrete substrate fails moisture testing or contains excessive moisture
Jobs excluded for these reasons do not qualify for commission.
Commission Structure
• 10% flat commission on labor profits per qualifying job
• Commission is calculated on net job profit only
• Material costs are excluded from commission calculations
• Commission is earned only after full payment is received by Gloss and Grit Epoxy
Performance Bonuses
• $250 bonus after 4 completed and fully paid jobs
• $500 bonus after 6 completed and fully paid jobs
• Higher-paying projects may qualify for higher bonus payouts
• Performance bonuses are paid in addition to standard commissions
Earning and Payment
• Commission is paid within 1–3 business days after full payment is received
• Payment methods may include cash, check, or online payment in approved situations
Multiple Referrals
If more than one approved participant claims the same referral, the commission will be split evenly.
Examples:
• Two participants: 5% each
• Three participants: 3.33% each
Referral Participation and Responsibilities
• Referrals must be listed and consulted throughout the transaction
• You are not required to be listed on the estimate
• You are not required to attend bids, estimates, or closings
• Participants may simply provide a referral, assist in the sales process, or fully close the deal
Service Area
• Primary service area is Missouri
• Projects outside the primary service area may qualify and are subject to approved travel fees
Branding and Representation
• Participants may use the Gloss and Grit Epoxy name and logo
• Participants may present themselves as sales representatives of Gloss and Grit Epoxy
• Branding must be used professionally and in alignment with company standards
Independent Contractor and Tax Responsibility
Participation in this program does not create an employment, partnership, agency, or joint venture relationship. Participants are responsible for their own business expenses, insurance, and liabilities. All commissions and bonuses may be considered taxable income, and participants are solely responsible for reporting and paying all applicable local, state, and federal taxes.
Non-Circumvention and Client Protection
Participants may not resell, subcontract, or represent Gloss and Grit Epoxy services under another business name. Violation of this policy may result in immediate removal from the program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
Program Administration
Gloss and Grit Epoxy reserves the right to determine referral qualification, commission eligibility, profit calculations, commission splits, and bonus payments. The company may modify, suspend, or terminate the program at any time without prior notice. This post outlines program guidelines only and does not constitute a legally binding contract.
