We shared a sneak peek of the design presentation (happening now!) on reels. This flat lay Friday is inspired to buy those very textures, fabrics and finishes from that design.

PROJECT REVEAL // MCM GEM RENO

An iconic Mid-Century Modern gem, thoughtfully reimagined.
Originally designed in 1946–47 by renowned St. Louis architect Harris Armstrong, this Kirkwood residence was created as both home and professional office—rooted in innovation, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to nature. The home’s striking columnar structure, crafted from stripped tree trunks resting on stone, remains a defining architectural moment, visible from both inside and out.

The kitchen remodel became a study in intentional design. By relocating the kitchen to the home’s east-facing corner—formerly the living room—Senior Designer Cori Dyer reestablished the space as the heart of the home, allowing the original perimeter windows to flood the room with natural light while preserving open sight lines to the surrounding landscape.

A double island with waterfall quartzite, a contrasting stone peninsula, and custom walnut cabinetry provide exceptional functionality without competing with the architecture. Luxury is layered thoughtfully: dual beverage refrigerators, multiple prep sinks, a gas range in the secondary island, double ovens, and a panel-ready refrigerator seamlessly integrated into frameless, full-overlay millwork.

Throughout, historic columns, beams, and original flooring were carefully preserved—paying homage to Armstrong’s vision while elevating the home for modern living.

This space was designed to feel cohesive and layered — where the living area flows effortlessly into the dining room, connected through warm wood tones, sculptural lighting, and intentional symmetry. Clean lines meet warm textures in this light-filled space, where sculptural seating, a tailored rug, and soft custom drapery create a balance of elegance and ease. The statement chandelier anchors the room without overpowering it.

Cori balanced softness and structure to create a home that feels elevated but never . From the tailored upholstery to the statement lighting and curated art moments, this is design meant to be lived in — beautifully.

W O O D S Y N U R S E R Y // this space was transformed from an office designed in the last phase. was tasked with creating a nursery when her clients found out their new baby was on the way! She seamlessly integrated the existing wall covering, neutral tones, and textured rug from the original office design into the new nursery. The result is a space filled with elements and layers that will grow beautifully with their new baby. Congratulations to our clients on the new addition, we're honored to have been a part of this project.

P R I M A R Y B A T H R E F R E S H // completed a refresh of this primary bath to make it an oasis. The previous shower felt dark and closed off. Cori designed this sleek Neolith shower surround to brighten up the space and make for a cleaner look. The custom brass and glass surround added the perfect detailed touch and styled the space up with new light fixtures and accessories.
