This week at Wildflowers was full in every way.

It was Grace’s last week with us, and while we’re so, so sad to see her go, we’re also incredibly excited for her new adventure in Kansas. We celebrated with the sweetest goodbye lunch at Oliva and spent time reflecting on all the beauty, hard work, laughter, and creativity we’ve shared together over this year.

In between weddings, beautiful daily orders, Opera opening flowers, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with spring at the studio, I ended the week in Saint Genevieve with my kids — slow moments, good food, and a little reset after a busy season.

Grateful for this little floral life and the people who make it meaningful.

I’ve been growing this cotinus for three years and finally cut from it for this arrangement for

I waited for branches the same way some people wait for flowers — for the color to deepen, for the shape to open, for the movement to feel just right.

While I was cutting from it, a mother bird yelled at me the entire time because her nest is tucked safely inside the bush. Don’t worry — we left the nest untouched and her babies are doing just fine. She still scolds me every time I walk too close.

So much of this work begins long before I ever start arranging.

My work is shaped over seasons.

Last week looked a little bit like this… 🍋✨

From lemons, olive branches, and petals scattered through the alley after cleaning up the beautiful Opera Theatre gala… to getting to be part of the Bichon dog show right here in St. Louis (truly one of the cutest events ever).

This week is filled with graduation bouquets — and they feel extra special this year because my daughter graduated college. Watching these seasons of life unfold while creating flowers for yours is something I never take for granted. 💛

Also… this wreath is available and I’m completely obsessed with her. She’d be so sweet in a baby’s room, powder room, or anywhere that needs a little softness and beauty.

And finally — real life. The last photo is me, in bed with my cat, sick. Which almost never happens. But sometimes as a business owner, artist, florist, mom… you keep going until your body says “rest.” So that’s what I’m trying to do.

Thank you for supporting this little business through all the beautiful, messy, joyful, human moments. We’re so grateful you’re here.
