All three of these colors were recently featured in our Soft Neutrals monthly fabric club - Chiffon, Faline and Woodsmoke. It's official! Our store will be re-opening in our new location on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14 at 433 Sovereign Ct, Ballwin, MO 63011. From now through June 12, our brick and mortar stores are completely CLOSED while we pack, move and re-inventory. We can't wait to see you in our new digs...the sign went up today, which makes it really real!

We have a little surprise pre-order fabric launce - Summer in the Garden, twelve whimsical and mottled colors in a cheerful rainbow. Many of these colors would make for excellent fall, Halloween and Christmas stitching, too! If you're visiting our Grand Re-Opening on June 13 and 14, we'll have a special in-store treat...a HUGE selection of misdye thread hanks. They look like yarn bundles, but each is 800 yards of our hand dyed thread, priced at a heavy discount. These are great for large monochromatic projects (or having enough of a particular color for eternity!) As my personal hero said, there are no mistakes, only happy accidents, and we know you'll do something beautiful with our oopsie colors.

We haven't had much time to share what we've been working on in the new store, but here's a little snippet - one of the things we wanted to vastly improve was how our patterns and charts were displayed. Our current store just wasn't large enough to allow for many front-facing chart displays, and we had to use a lot of bins and holders to try to keep things organized. We have much more space in the new location, and we knew we wanted charts to be much more browsable (while also being organized enough for our staff to pull from for online orders.) My dad helped us design these pipe pattern racks and they turned out just like we'd hoped! Get excited to ruffle through alllllll the charts and be inspired!

Mark your calendars - our GRAND RE-OPENING date is Saturday, June 13 in our new storefront! The last day of operation in our current location will be Friday, May 29, after which the existing store will be closed until reopening at our new address. We can't wait to welcome you to our larger space - our iconic Colour and Cotton rainbow thread wall is already in place!
