These pillows are no longer available.
Which is exactly why everyone suddenly wants them.

They were a custom order—made for someone decisive, clearly—and now they’re off living their best upholstered life somewhere else, probably being admired more than is strictly necessary. Three pillows, cut from richly patterned fabric that looks like it has opinions about history, geography, and possibly your color choices.

They didn’t match. They coordinated. There’s a difference. Matching is what happens when things are told what to do. These did what they wanted and happened to look fantastic together.

Deep reds that refuse to whisper. Blues that have seen things. Patterns that feel like they crossed borders without paperwork. You put them on a neutral sofa and the sofa immediately becomes less neutral about everything.

Now here’s the inconvenient truth: I can make more.
Not these—those are gone, committed, unavailable, possibly smug. But something very much like them. Same spirit. Same “where did you find these?” effect. Slightly different personality, because clones are unsettling and I don’t make them.

So if you’re looking at these and feeling mild regret (or aggressive regret), we can fix that.

I did not plan to make pillows.

I restore antique furniture. I make bags. I had a system.

Then Italian leather got involved and, as usual, ignored the plan.

So now there are pillows.

Not the kind that collapse into themselves after a week and quietly give up on life. These hold their shape. Their dignity. Possibly a mild superiority complex.

They sit on a chair like they were invited.
They sit on a sofa like they own it.

The leather is soft but not delicate, structured but not stiff—exactly the kind of material that improves with time and develops the sort of character you can’t fake (no matter how many “distressed” labels try).

You don’t decorate with these.
You introduce them to a room and let them rearrange the mood.

Most are made as sets, because one pillow alone starts to look like a decision you’ll have to explain to guests.

Each one is cut, sewn, and finished by me—in between restoring pieces that have already survived a century and making bags that plan to.

They don’t usually stay long.

P.S. If you’re looking for a very specific color, size, or trying to make a designer vision behave—I take custom orders. Just be warned: the leather will still have opinions.

This bag began its life as a perfectly respectable piece of mustard Italian pebble leather minding its own business. Then it encountered a panel of floral leather with a personality of its own, a row of brass grommets, and a maker (that would be me) who thought it might be fun to see what happens when good materials are given a little creative freedom.

The result is this one-of-a-kind bucket bag — structured enough to behave, expressive enough not to disappear quietly into the background.

The body is crafted from rich mustard Italian leather paired with a textured floral forget-me-not leather panel that politely refuses to be ignored. Brass grommets circle the top edge, guiding a black leather drawstring that gathers the bag closed with satisfying precision.

Inside, the bag is fully lined and thoughtfully organized with one slip pocket and one zippered pocket, because beautiful bags should also know how to keep things in order. A reinforced leather facing around the rim adds structure and durability where the drawstring does its daily work.

The 1.5″ wide shoulder strap sits comfortably on the shoulder and attaches with solid brass swivel clips. It can be unclipped if someone someday decides to experiment with another strap — though it seems quite content with the one it has. The bag can be carried comfortably on the shoulder or tucked neatly under the arm, exactly where a bucket bag prefers to travel.

And because a bag deserves at least one small moment of personality, this one carries leather leaf charms — a quiet reminder that practical objects don’t always have to take themselves too seriously.

No two bags will ever be exactly the same. That’s the advantage of handmade work. It has character.

Italian Pebble Leather Hobo Bag (Orange, Slouchy, Unapologetic)

Handmade by me, with full awareness of how many perfectly good bags already exist in the world, this one insisted on being born anyway. It’s a hobo-style bag—soft, slouchy, and spacious—made from Italian pebble leather that behaves beautifully and refuses to be stiff about anything.

The bag is unlined, not because I forgot, but because covering this leather would be rude. Inside, there is one pocket: singular, intentional, and just enough to convince you that organization was briefly discussed. Everything else is open space, designed to accept your daily essentials, your optimistic extras, and whatever you forgot you already packed.

At the top, two leather ties can be knotted to secure the bag—or at least to provide the comforting illusion of closure. This system works well for people who like freedom, flexibility, and living slightly on the edge.

It’s very much in vogue at the moment, though the bag is unaware of this and uninterested. It improves with use, softens over time, and develops character instead of rules.

Shipping: Free. Because charging extra to send you something you already paid for still feels like villain behavior, and I refuse to play that role.

Thanks—and yes, it really does look better in real life.

Feel free—no, really, feel morally obligated—to check out my shop and witness the absurd variety of handmade pieces I’ve poured my life into. Bags? Oh, they’re there. In their own category, no less. Because even chaos needs a filing system.

This bag is made from Italian embossed leather that looks like it has already lived a full life and sees no reason to recap it for you. The floral texture is deep, wrinkled, and confidently irregular—because smooth perfection is for people who don’t use their bags.

The blue suede accents were added intentionally, mostly to keep the leather from becoming insufferable. Soft, unexpected, and slightly ironic, they interrupt the drama just enough to remind everyone that design can be serious without being solemn.

There is a leather handle for carrying by hand or over the shoulder when you feel competent, and an adjustable crossbody strap for when competence is delayed. Both are removable, because flexibility is a lifestyle choice.

A zipper pocket on the back keeps phone and keys where they belong—reachable without excavation. Inside, the bag fits a 13” laptop, iPad, Kindle, a real paper book (for moral support), a cosmetic pouch, chargers, and several items you insist are essential.

The interior is lined in plaid, which claims organization while quietly allowing chaos. Interior pockets exist. They try. The zipper works, which is not nothing.

Finished with a blue suede flower charm, serving no practical purpose whatsoever—and therefore absolutely necessary.

Dimensions: Height 11.5" when standing (total from top to bottom 12.5")
Width 14.5" if to face it straight + depth on the sides.
Depth about 3"
Top opening around 13.5"
Strap width 1.25”

This bag is available for immediate shipping.

And shipping? Free. Zero dollars. Nada. I pay so you don’t have to, because I believe in miracles. (And also because I’m too emotionally exhausted to explain shipping charges.)

She was crafted with affection, precision, and maybe just a little too much caffeine. This striking tote—soft, supple, and suspiciously symmetrical—pairs the eternal struggle of black versus white in a grid so clean it could pass for a chessboard if you squint hard enough.

Open it up and boom: checkered lining! Not just for looks—no, no—there’s a zippered pocket for your secrets, a slip pocket for your receipts (or regrets), and enough room to lose your keys five times a day. The leather handles? As sturdy and elegant as the hands of someone who always leaves parties early, but in style.

Perfect for romantic walks, spontaneous weddings you weren't exactly invited to, or the kind of party where someone always ends up crying in the bathroom—this bag will be there for you. Handmade by me, because mass production just didn’t seem neurotic enough.

Custom Order. Also known as: “The Bag That Nearly Wasn’t, But Then Absolutely Had to Be.”

She sent me fabric.
No explanation. No diagram. No warning label. Just a beautiful, loud, unapologetically zigzagged piece of cloth that looked like it once lived an exciting life as the center of a Balkan circus tent or an Andean revolutionary’s poncho.

She said, “Can you make a bag with this?”

I said, “Yes.”
Because apparently I do that now—transform orphaned textiles into leather-hugged marvels that carry not just keys and phones, but stories, secrets, snacks, small regrets, and the occasional existential crisis.

So I wrapped it in timeworn leather that looks like it survived both a stampede and a poetry reading, lined it with fabric that whispers ancient Ikat lullabies, reinforced the straps like I expected her to carry anvils (or at least apples), and added a matching snap pouch because even chaos deserves coordination.

And now it’s a bag.
A glorious, weird, handsome bag.
Custom. Unrepeatable. Slightly unpredictable. Just like its new owner.

👜 Want one that’s equally yours? Send me your fabric. Or your dreams. Or both.

Made at PHC Atelier, where logic takes a nap and leather wakes up.

I made this lime-green leather tote set as a birthday gift for my daughter — because nothing says “I love you” quite like wrestling with a sewing machine, a mountain of leather, and my own perfectionism at 1 AM.

The tote is unlined (on purpose!), proudly showing off its natural suede interior like a bag with nothing to hide. The pebbled leather is soft, bright, and confident enough to be seen from space — practical for finding it in her car, which is an adventure of its own.

Double-stitched straps with copper rivets keep the whole thing sturdy enough to hold her books, water bottle, hopes, dreams, snacks, and whatever else her generation carries that mine never warned me about.

It comes with two sidekicks:
• A matching zippered pouch that will heroically store all the tiny items that normally vanish forever.
• A snap-closure mini wallet with the bold personality of a chihuahua in a sweater.

Handmade by me, with love, caffeine, and a few whispered negotiations with the leather.
Happy birthday, my girl — may your bag be as bright as your future and as strong as your mother’s coffee.

Born from Italian croc-embossed leather and raised—at least in its own imagination—on the boulevards of Paris, this bag is haute couture with a smirk. Its navy-and-white panels stand tall and lean, like the striped tents at Deauville, except these stripes would rather collect stares than block the sun.

Handmade by me, because certain scandals demand a personal touch. No lining—because it’s bold enough to go commando. No pockets—because what you carry matters far less than how you carry it.

This bag doesn’t chase summer; it reclines in a deck chair, orders something cold and expensive, and waits for summer to wander over. The dark blue and white leather shimmers like the Mediterranean at high noon, staring down every polyester tote within a hundred yards. And there’s only one—unless I decide to make a twin, which I won’t.

It’s not just awesome—it’s scandalously awesome. And it knows it.

Warning: May cause strangers to stop you mid-stride.

Size (because even bags need to define themselves):

Tall: 10 ½" (27 cm) — tall enough to look important without showing off.
Wide: 12" (48 cm) — wide enough to hold your life, but not your regrets.
Deep: 2 ¾" (7 cm) — deep enough for secrets, shallow enough for keys.
Handle Drop: 13 ¼" (34 cm) — the perfect distance between “effortlessly chic” and “practically useful.”

This bag is ready to ship immediately, which means the only thing standing between you and it is… well, nothing, really.

This bag is outrageously purple — the kind of purple that doesn’t tiptoe politely into a room but barges in, announces itself, and dares anyone to question why it exists. It’s made from embossed Italian leather scrawled with cryptic symbols that look suspiciously like the fever dreams of someone trapped on hold with customer service for the better part of eternity or drawn by a philosopher on the edge of a nervous breakdown.

There’s a zip pocket on the back for the things you claim you’ll need at a moment’s notice (and will absolutely forget about), plus an interior zip pocket that stands ready to hoard your lipstick, crumpled receipts, and fleeting sense of order.

It closes on top with a gorgeous lock — far too pretty for its humble job of keeping your personal chaos somewhat contained.

The adjustable strap lets you sling it crossbody or wear it low on your hip, keeping your hands free to wave off existential dread or point indignantly at life’s small absurdities.

It’ll fit your phone, keys, wallet, lipstick, receipts, and more — all the little relics of your daily mess — while grinning along with you at the beautiful futility of trying to keep it all together.
You wear it so your arms are free, though you don’t know what to do with them anymore.

It’s not just a bag. It’s a condition.
