Together we can do great things!! This beautiful fireplace just got completed today for our wonderful clients in Lucas Valley. It’s not a professional shot (yet) and we are still waiting for a few final touches. That’s because *thoughtful* spaces and GOOD design take time and expertise! We waited months for a handcrafted rug that had materials affected by the Strait closure …. Our long awaited sectional arrived, but for some reason the vendor put the wrong piece onto the truck 🙃 … but things are finally coming together and I have been receiving happy texts from our clients. It makes our day to see them enjoying their newly designed spaces! We do so much behind the scenes to get to a milestone like this. So I’m going to enjoy every minute and thanks to all the people (people not 🤖) that make these things come to real life. Happy weekend. ❤️

When you drive by a house, you never know what it’s been through to get where it is today. When we were in search for an Eichler home back in 2013, I’d put the kids in the car and just drive around our (now) neighborhood, admiring “finished” houses and hoping to find the one. Well, it’s taken over 12 years for our house to transform (we still have bits and pieces to go!) but we have come a long long way! If you are in a renovation project, give yourself grace and patience. It’s so not easy, but worth the journey it takes to create a home that’s yours. ❤️

To all the Moms and Mama figures out there, Happy Mother’s Day!! Motherhood has been the hardest job of my life. So many behind the scenes moments and labor (both physical and mental) - all the planning, worrying, feeding, helping, balancing; it’s all a journey I am so grateful to experience. I am lucky to have wonderful Mom examples in my circle, from my Mom, late MIL, & Lola, to family and friends to guide me through the phases and all the ups and downs. Sending hugs to you all today, here and those that have passed. ❤️

When someone hears I’m an Interior Designer, they often ask what exactly we do …. Well, yes we do “decorate” houses (eventually) but so much goes into our work with clients to reimagine their spaces. From entire home remodels, to selecting grout spacing and color, to designing custom millwork, to picking every finish, k**b and TP holder! It’s a demanding job, but so satisfying to see a space transform and change how the people love and use their spaces within their home. ❤️

Our team has been hard at work helping to source unique pieces to infuse character and history into a new build/spec home. What better way than to bring in vintage pieces (some of these are over 150 years old!) Thank you to Jan from for the masterclass in Bakshaish rugs, the families & weaving history and helping our clients to find just the perfect piece for their new home. ❤️

More on these amazing rugs from Claremont Rug: “Bakshaish is a town on the banks of the Talke Rud River in the Heriz region of Northwest Persia. Situated in the mountainous region 60 miles east of the large city of Tabriz, Bakshaish is the oldest rug weaving village in the district of Heriz, noted for carpets with highly artistic, tremendously diverse abstracted adaptations of age-old tribal and classical Persian motifs.”

Orange you glad it’s FRIDAY?! 🍊🍊🍊 Here’s a reveal of a sunny powder room we have been working on in Phoenix, AZ! The client grew up with a citrus grove outside her window, so we brought that into the space with this incredible wallpaper. One of my favorite details is the orange pencil trim and kept the glass block window.

Hello Haver Hood! 👋🏼 Last week I got to merge work, family and play in a trip down to Phoenix, AZ. We have two Haver projects in the same neighborhood and got to check in on progress! Here’s a mini tour of a beautifully maintained Haver neighborhood. Similar to Eichler, Ralph Haver is known for building affordable post-war midcentury modern housing tracts, but he was an Architect himself (while Eichler was a builder working with various Architects).

Helllllooo Friday and a quick tour of our recently completed Los Altos Eichler vanity area! This project had been a long time in the making. After a few hiccups, we got to see this project come to see her full glory! Watch till the end to appreciate the beauty of original 1970s tile design in Eichler’s later builds. We kept all original tile in the wet room/shower + toilet area, but refreshed with a new toilet. In the vanity area we feature complimentary tile work and my personal favorite, a lighted mirror. Beautiful tile crafted by and thank you to for building the stunning vanity. And of course, kept the original jalousie windows ❤️
