We were thrilled when we found this one because we’ve only ever found one other one in all our 30 years of Quilt hunting!

This pattern was published in newspapers in the year 1934 and every week a different floral pattern would be published. Quilters eagerly awaited their weekly newspaper so they could start on the next floral. Designed by famed Quilt designer Ruby McKim.

This Quilt measures 98 x 75“

It is expertly hand, appliquéd, and hand quilted at seven stitches per inch, hand bound.

We laundered it for its very first time to freshen it from nearly 100 years of safe storage

It is in excellent condition with no damage

A wonderful Quilt for the decorator, a rare Quilt for the collector!

Wonderful generational “Rolling Stone“ Quilt

Fabrics date from the 1880s to the backing that is 1930s

nicely hand quilted at seven stitches per inch

Features zigzag and chain quilting

The beautiful blue panels on the back are 32 inches from salvage to salvage

This Quilt has a tiny 3/16 inch hand bound binding

measures 78” x 78”

In very good condition with one tiny, faint spot and storage tanning on the back. Never washed never used.

By the 1880s industrial textile production had fully shifted to high-speed, mechanized cylinder (roller) printing. Fabric flaws from mechanical and chemical glitches caused by massive steam-powered machinery. industrialization prioritized output speed over perfect accuracy. These flaws, often seen as imperfections today, were considered normal at the time.

This is such a wonderfully, early 1860-1880s “tree of life” Quilt in overdyed green and white.

Measures 78 x 74”

This Quilt has outstanding hand quilting at 12 tiny stitches per inch with fancy feathered wreaths throughout . Hand bound.

Freshly laundered

Very good condition, we found one small age spot, and one faint blue migration spot. There is a bit of discoloration from the overdye process mostly affecting one tree. There is light binding wear. See all photos.

The soft colors and amazing texture will blend so beautifully with your antiques, primitive, or cottage collectibles!
