Life has been a bit of a whirlwind since we got back from vacation. We’ve had a bunch to deal with recently- our dog Tucker’s surgery/complications and Jay’s mom’s health taking a drastic downward turn. All while prepping for back to school. In the midst of the sad and stressful moments, we’ve seen answered prayers and miracles. I’m so thankful for that.
I gave my classroom a much needed makeover during the summer and it turned out really cute! The students seem to enjoy it and appreciate that it’s organized and well stocked with art supplies. I’m just as excited as they are about all the creative projects I have planned for this year. We’re also having an art show!! The year is off to a great start and I look forward to the rest of the year.
As this school year begins, I ask that you pray for all the teachers and students-that they have a safe and productive year with lots of love and learning. I also ask that you pray for Jay’s mother, that her passing is peaceful and pain free. Pray for Jay, his brother, and the extended family as they navigate through this. It’s never easy being a caregiver.
Lots of changes for our family this summer. We don’t know what the future holds but we know who holds the future, so it’s all going to be ok!
