Introducing our latest mural, Redon.

During a visit to the Musée d’Orsay in Paris, the designers at Paul Montgomery fell in love with the fabulous decorative panels painted by Odilon Redon for the dining room of the Château de Domecy-sur-le-Vault in Burgundy, France. The panels he painted for the château were among his most radical compositions, marking a transition from ornamental to abstract painting.

The landscape does not depict a specific place or setting. Instead, details of trees, leafy twigs, and budding flowers emerge against an endless horizon. The colors are predominantly yellow, gray, brown, and light blue. The influence of Japanese painting, particularly the style found on folding screens known as byōbu, is discernible in Redon’s choice of colors and the rectangular proportions of the panels, some of which reach up to eight feet in height.

Inspired by these remarkable decorative panels, this mural evokes the color palette and style of the original works. The whimsical modern design speaks to Redon’s artistic vision, transforming a space into an immersive, dreamlike landscape where floating flora, abstract trees, and organic profiles seem to suspend reality.

Bring the South of France home. Introducing Provence: A Window to the Mediterranean.

The Provence mural is an homage to Paul Cézanne and his wonderful life in the South of France. Painted in a style that evokes Cézanne's brushstrokes and color sense, it opens a wide panorama into the region so dearly loved by many. Paul Cézanne was a French Post-Impressionist painter whose work introduced new modes of representation, influenced avant-garde artistic movements of the early 20th century, and formed the bridge between late 19th-century Impressionism and early 20th-century Cubism.

This mural will envelop the viewer in a sunny landscape with a view of the Mediterranean Sea. Lavender fields float among olive groves and cypress trees, and life is calm and tranquil.

This new mural is a quintessential wild mountain landscape inspired by masterful European paintings, capturing various regions of the continent, including the Alps, and is available in four colors.

This scene evokes the grandeur and atmosphere of a high Alpine view across jagged ranges, lush forests, and ethereal meadows.
