You all know Halloween is the greatest holiday in the universe. I said it. I stand by it.
So this year I used my crafty powers of creation to make a thing that brings joy and nostalgia. BEHOLD! THIS GUY!
A dancing pumpkin, just like the ones I remember from childhood, only BETTER. Not flimsy cardstock. Nope. This sweet round dude is made of wood, so he’ll dance for more than one season. His arms and legs really move. I did this for you.
I only made a few, in two sizes: door size and fridge size (the little one has a magnet). They are powered by whimsy and the spirit of Halloween.
And because I love you, they’re $5 off through Halloween night: fridge size $10, door size $15.. If you order in the by Wednesday, you should have it in time for Halloween.

Not sure why I'm using my ASMR voice, but LO! behold! My most recent crankie! Probably the one crankie I have been wanting to make the longest. Kind of reminds me of animal crackers :-)

I'm able to get some of these crankie designs out of my head now! Having the right tool makes ALL the difference!
Now for the hard part; designing the scroll to roll in them!

it's time to update my eyeball prescription! The last shop I went to would not replace the lenses in any of my frames. so now I'm shopping for new frames because why not! The frames are the cheap part.

SO EXCITED! I have been accepted to vend at the Twilight Market!

Frederick Punk Rock Flea Market is partnering with The Frederick Keys to bring a night oddity and curiosity market celebrating all things odd and spooky to Frederick on October 17th from 4:00 to 9:00 pm. The market will feature over a 100 vendors, live bands, workshops, costumes, face painting, live performances and activities, delicious food and drinks! All completely free to the public!

Saturday Morning there will be a Crankie Make&Take workshop where you can learn more about this delightful artform!

Con goers are also invited to stop by the Crafty Carny table and share Key City Steampunk memories for the collab scroll I'm making to tell the story of the event!
