Today I picked my very first blooms of the season, and there was only one place I wanted to bring them.

I took them to my great-grandparents’ grave in remembrance of Nellie—the woman who inspired the name behind this business. 🌸

Starting a flower farm has been a journey filled with hard work, setbacks, and determination, but moments like this remind me why I started. Being able to honor my family’s legacy with the first flowers of the season feels incredibly special.

Thank you, Nellie, for the inspiration that continues to grow year after year. These first blooms are for you. 🤍

It’s been a busy and rewarding start to the season over here. There have definitely been a few setbacks along the way, but after a lot of hard work, I finally have all of my rows in the ground, completely by hand. Without tractor attachments to help lay w**d fabric, everything has taken a little more time and effort, but seeing it all come together makes it worth it. I’m finally at the point where irrigation can go in and seedlings can start getting planted, which feels like such a huge milestone.

As some of you may have noticed, the farm stand dates have changed slightly from what was previously posted in my bio. The farm stand will now officially open July 1st and close September 30th.

Here’s to a great growing season. I can’t wait to see this year’s harvest and share it all with you. 🌸
