Deep emerald drama💚

What makes this space work:
• Green tile = statement
• Warm metals = contrast
• Simple finishes = balance
• Intentional pairing = depth

TEEN BOY BATH complete!
✨Read on for my favorite detail at the end

Goals:
•maximize tiny space for 3 teen boys
•incorporate color to feel masculine but timeless
•avoid light colored tile without making the space feel dark
•create more counter space
•designated storage for each boy
•ample storage for bath products in shower
•convenient location for extra toilet paper

Renovating this space had some typical improvement demands but in a small footprint, sometimes the tiny spaces are the most challenging, and fun to solve at the same time.

✅Added color with a modern variegated green tile in the shower

✅ Maximized counter space and hidden storage

✅ Removed the solid white floor tile and white wall tile
and used a bronze dark penny floor tile to always look clean while the lighter grout keeps it bright. Splurged for a handful of vanity backsplash tiles with custom cut mirror to make the room feel larger

✅Handsome wood toned cabinetry

✅✨Favorite detail was turning the end portion of upper cabinetry to face the window and toilet so we could have open shelving for essentials. Convenient but concealed.

This bathroom used to make zero sense…until we changed the footprint.

Showing this Client through visuals like plans with precise dimensions, perspective images and 3D walkthroughs helped them understand what it would feel like to have an adequate vanity for a primary bath, where a soaking tub could go, how to fit a bench into a shower and how to fit space for ample linen storage.

Beyond the actual finishes that give the space life, personality and reflection of that Client, layout is crucial.
