Good morning! I am assuming you may park on East Main thru Monday. I believe the road work is paused until then for the holiday weekend. I will call Boro Police when I get to work to verify. Please call me in the shop before you head to town & I can tell you for sure. 717- 687- 8951 Marcia

Well this is fun. There is NO parking on East Main thru at least Thurs. They have started milling the road & hope to pave the square over the next few nights. I wish I could tell you where you can park, but they have the square closed as well. We will have one lane of the street open for driving....flagmen directing. I will update tomorrow on any changes....so sorry....this is reallllly getting old. Marcia

Good Sunday evening. Wanted to fill you in on some of the goodies that arrived this week.
I did get some Dust Bunny from Fox & Rabbit along with designs from Cross Stitch Antiques, Teresa Kogut, Shannon Christine, Primrose Cottage, Kathy Barrick New York Dreamer, Unseemly Stitches and I know how you have all been waiting....Stitches by Ethel....I still have orders on their way, & will let you know when they arrive.......they are still messing around out front, but you can park in front of the store....they are slowlyyyyy moving down East Main toward the railroad....feel free to call me before you head in if you want a more accurate update....thanks to you all, and have a lovely week. Good Monday stitchers....well, here we go again. Road work on East Main started this morning and will probably run most of this week. Basically parking will be dicey...down by square will be fine & the nice man in front of the shop said they will be moving down the street towards Speckled Hen, so not in front of me all the time. There is parking right across the street from me and the square. What a mess....will let you know when they move on to annoy someone else. Marcia

Great side note....the Needlework Marketplace was this weekend....I ordered all kinds of goodies....from new designs, new fabric and all kinds of fun goodies for you collectors. I will update what we get as soon as they start showing up....I know we are all waiting on Ethel's new designs. Will post when they are in the shop....have a great evening ....see you soon.

Good Sunday evening!!! So exciting....the votes were in for the Readers Choice Awards for this year....our first year being nominated & we came in 2nd place!! Hard placement since there are no sections for hand work at all....we found a home in "Sewing Shop"....so we will be happy there. Thanks to all who voted....what an honor!!!

Good morning stitchers....a framing reminder for any of you hoping to have Cara frame your pieces. She will be at the shop on Friday, August 28. She will be available around 11:30 to meet with you and able to show you some of the many mouldings She has. She suggests you email her a picture of your finished piece so she can sort her mouldings to bring plenty of choices for you. The 28th is also the last date for her to guarantee your piece will be ready by Christmas. When I get in the shop this morning I will post her email address for any who would like to reach out. Good steamy Friday. Our new charts have arrived and are ready to go. We have Primrose Cottage, Jeannette Douglas, Heart in Hand, Shakespeare's Peddler, Scattered Seeds, Primitive Hare, Erica Michaels, Hands on Design, Summer House Stitche Workes, Artsy Housewife, Needle & Moss and Twin Peak Primitives. I have fabric on order from Fox & Rabbit & I will be ordering new Teresa Kogut beginning of the week. ........quick reminder that I will be open this Sunday from 12 to 4. Happy August Stitchy Friends....
New designs are arriving in the next few days so I will update shortly on who has arrived.
There are a few changes to the shop hours over the next 2 weeks. Corrin is hosting her retreat this weekend so I will be open this Sunday, the 9th from 12 to 4 for any of her attendees heading back this way. If you need anything feel free to stop by since I will be open. On Thurs. Aug. 13th I will only be open from 10 to 12. JR has a procedure in the afternoon and I am his driver.. The shop will also be closed on Sat. Aug. 15th. We will be back our normal hours Tues. Aug 18th........feel free to leave a message on the shop phone & I will return your call when I am back in the shop. Marcia
