Good evening friends...quick question...Teresa Kogut just posted her new designs....please let me know if there is any interest for me to place my order...wasn't bowled over with any of them, and hoping she isn't burning herself out. More than happy to bring in what you may be interested in stitching. She gave us soooo many great designs after Market, so I will be restocking many of them...Marcia

Good evening stitchers....quick update. Have received some new designs from Old Man & the Bea & Primrose Cottage. Also received some fabric from Barefoot Needleart and the new magnetic frames they are making. They come in 3 sizes, 3x3, 4x4 & 5x5. The colors are black, white, red, green & blue. Your Mill Hill kits will fit if you alter by a row or two....frames are much more reasonable than the Mill Hill frames.
I am expecting a shipment of charts in the next day or 2, and I do have some Fix & Rabbit on its way.

The only change to this week's schedule is that I may be closed all of Sat. I have a funeral to attend, and just not sure if I will get back to the shop to open in the afternoon. Please call before you come, as I will certainly answer if I get back to the shop.

Good evening stitchers & hope you all enjoyed Memorial Day with family & friends.
Slight change to the end of this week's hours. On Saturday, May 30 I will be open from 10 to 2....have a graduation party so have to close a bit early.
Now Cara, the lovely framer from Maryland was in this week. She will be here again June 17 to pick up framing. If anyone needs framing for the fall fairs, she will need them in June. Anything needed for Christmas she will have to have in the August pickup....at least this gives you a heads up and hopefully gives you time to finish your projects.
I want to thank all of you for the wonderful support I am receiving for the Readers Choice Awards....the last day to vote is Msy 31.....what an honor!!! Marcia

Good morning stitchers!!! They have removed all the "no parking" signs in front of the shop!! Next week the Boro starts road work on South Decatur Street, so the whole block to the Presbyterian Church will be closed even to local traffic.

Exciting news!!! HodgePodge was nominated & accepted into the LPN Readers Choice Awards...so excited & honored...you can get into LNP Media website & vote for us....we are under the Sewing Shops....I know....but at least it's close & I am thrilled I was nominated....you friends are the BEST....

Obviously I don't do math very well. Regarding shops staying open the 3rd Friday of each month until 8:00....that would have been LAST Friday, not this Friday....good grief....so the next Friday I stay open will be June 19th. Sorry for any mixup.....hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day, even though the weather sounds a bit crummy. Marcia

Good evening...looks like they aren't done messing in front of the shop. They posted no parking signs again this afternoon..
seriously ready for this to be done...call before you head in Tuesday or Wednesday and I can give you parking update..
Some of the shops here are trying the 3rd Friday of each month to be open until 8...I will be open this Friday to show support if you are in the area

Hello my stitchy friends!! My wonderful vacation is coming to an end over the next few days....I did place a few orders today that hopefully will arrive after I get back in the shop. I may be in the shop for a bit on Monday, but I would CALL first in case I get snagged up with something. Definitely we are back to normal Tuesday.
JR is still waiting on his back shot to kick in, but it didn't hold him back from enjoying our vacation. We said goodbye to Becca the day before we left, and she is settling in to her new digs, and we miss her already....she is happy & that makes us happy.
We are off to enjoy our last fabulous fresh seafood dinner....then back to the "real world".....
Yes, I stitched, read books, cooked in a kitchen bigger than mine, and got great sleep.....now I'm ready to come back to work....see you soon, my friends!! Marcia

Good Friday evening my stitchy friends.

The shop has some goofy hours this coming week. I will be open Tuesday the 28th from 10 to 12:30...JR gets his nerve block shot and I am his driver. Wednesday and Thursday are my normal hours. Then we will be closed from May 1 until the 19th
You will be able to email me while I am away if you want to order anything or you can leave messages on the shop answering machine and I will get back when I return.
Thanks for being the great customers that you are and understanding that I need a few weeks to recharge. I sooo appreciate the business you give me. Marcia

Thanks to all my stitchy friends for another lovely "day of stitching"....thanks to my wonderful friends who shared their gifts for us to purchase, and those who shared their gifts of knowledge for the art of stitching we all love.
Thanks to Cara for taking a day off to share her gift of mounting & framing our handwork, and showing us all the options that are available to choose from. Susan, Sew Pretty Pins with her beautiful finish suggestions for our projects....this year especially with this being our 250th celebration. ...Thanks to our special fun friends/new designers....Debbie & Frances from Maryland, Margaret of Leola fame Deb from Willow Street, Paul as he starts his new toe dipping into the crazy world of fun stitchy must-have. Could not do this without my favorite fabric Dyer... Corrin, Grace Notes Fabric..she is always here for me and her color choices are wonderful Huge thankyou to my local designers , Ethel of Stitches by Ethel, and the wonderful designs she designs for my retreats., and huge shout out to Susan of Old Man & the Bea for the beautiful Samplers she finds, researches and charts for us to stitch. It was a lovely day and we will try to have this much fun again in September...Thank you stitchers...it was a grand day
