This Exeter, NH Cape got a lot more than just new shingles.

During the roof replacement, our crew found sections of rotted decking that needed to be removed and replaced before the new roofing system could go on. We also discovered bathroom exhaust fans venting moist air directly into the attic, so we rerouted them to discharge properly outside the home.

Those are exactly the kinds of issues that can create bigger problems over time if they’re left hidden.

Once the underlying conditions were corrected, we installed Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration shingles in Williamsburg Gray for a clean, classic finish that fits the Cape-style home perfectly.

A big exterior transformation in North Hampton, NH.

This ranch in a neighborhood off Post Road had dated wood clapboard siding, but the bigger issue was what we found underneath. Once the old siding came off, our crew uncovered extensive rot and deteriorated sheathing that needed to be removed and replaced before the new exterior could go on.

After completing the repairs, we installed new CertainTeed vinyl siding, re-wrapped the fascia and exterior trim, and removed the old shutters for a cleaner, more updated look.

The finished siding is what you notice first, but the hidden repairs underneath are what made this project especially important.

If you’re considering siding replacement in North Hampton and are concerned about rot, aging clapboards, or hidden moisture damage, Compass Exteriors can help.

We recently wrapped up a major commercial siding project on Lafayette Road in Hampton, and we're proud of the final result! Replacing siding on an occupied building requires more than just construction skills—it takes careful coordination to ensure businesses can keep serving their customers while we work. Beyond installing new CertainTeed vinyl siding, our team addressed extensive hidden rot, replaced aging windows, and re-wrapped the fascia and trim for a clean, professional finish. We even handled the delicate process of removing and reinstalling tenant signage as we moved along the exterior. If you are a property owner looking for a contractor who values transparent workmanship and respects your daily operations, reach out to Compass Exteriors.

This Nashua home got much more than a new roof.

Located off Coburn Avenue across from Nashua High School North, the house has several roof sections with different pitches. We replaced the existing roof with Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration shingles in Slatestone Gray and finished the roofline with jet-black drip edge.

The biggest visual change came from replacing the dark wood fascia and window trim with bright white AZEK PVC board.

That new color combination made a huge difference. The Slatestone Gray roof contrasts with the bright white trim, while the black drip edge adds a clean accent between the two. Set against the home’s light brown exterior, everything feels more defined and balanced.

The AZEK trim also gives the homeowner better protection against moisture and future rot than traditional wood, with far less upkeep over time.

A great example of how the right roofing and trim choices can update an entire exterior without changing the character of the home.

We love a challenge at Compass Exteriors! We recently completed a unique roof replacement in Deerfield, NH, right near the fairgrounds.

This castle like home looks like something from Game of Thrones, with stone turrets and custom truss framing. For the turret areas, our crew installed EPDM rubber roofing and used specialized sealing details where the roof met the stone.
A memorable project on a home with a lot of character!

Another Newmarket project finished up.

This one included CertainTeed siding, a new front door, almond metal-wrapped fascia, and properly backed utility details around the home.

The front door and fascia made a big difference alongside the siding, and the PVC backing helped keep the meter panels and penetrations from looking like an afterthought.

New roof wrapped up in Pembroke, NH.

This one had a few different pieces to it: Owens Corning Duration shingles in Peppercorn on the main roof, matching shingles on the gazebo, and EPDM rubber roofing on the low-slope section where shingles weren’t the right call.

We also installed a black metal ice belt across the eaves, which created a clean, finished look along the roofline.
