Here are some of the beautiful quilts on display at the Streetsboro Quilt Show. And, just wait until you see the Best of Show!!

The Streetsboro Quilt Show will be at Faith Baptist Church, St. Rt. 43 in Streetsboro on Fri. 10-6 and Sat. 10-4.

There are vendors, a country store featuring hand-made items from guild members, and amazing, prize-winning quilts.

Two weeks ago, I had to say goodbye to my best friend, Sheldon. Today was the first time I was even able to look at a picture of him.

He was my companion through so much - grad school, major moves, wedding planning/marriage, miscarriages, pregnancies, and soooo many surgeries. He was always by my side or, more accurately, always on my chest, lol

I still look for him, wait for him to come to bed or wake me up - I expect him to just be there like he always was. I love Sheldon so much, and I miss him every day.

I'm still doing the actual quilting on my basting experiment quilt, but so far, so good!!! I think doing the pin basting while using a quilt frame has resolved a lot of the complaints that I have had when it comes to basting. Please remember - I am a fairly new quilter, but I've learned enough to know you should always do things your own way and have fun 😀 ❤️

I want to quilt this top on my regular domestic machine, but I really, really suck at basting. So, I'm off to experiment with different basting methods - because, why not??

I did one final soak on my vintage quilt top - which is now officially a quilt!! Love that dirty water lol
