In fact, the Thermomix® was invented in France at the end of the 1960s by Hansjörg Ge**er from Switzerland. In Garches, a suburb of Paris, he drew the sketches for the first prototype of what would later become the Thermomix®. The appliance was originally intended to make it easier to prepare creamy soups, which are very popular in France. However, it soon became clear that much more could be prepared in this new kitchen appliance. 😍
