Late 20th Century 8-Day Mechanical World Time Clock with a balance wheel escapement. This unique timepiece features a world map dial and an eight-day movement that is wound weekly. The movement was not running reliably when it arrived. It was completely disassembled, cleaned, oiled, adjusted, and a damaged rear mounting screw was repaired. After servicing, the movement successfully completed the equivalent of two full run cycles (16 days) to verify dependable operation before being returned to the customer. And just yesterday customer brought in two more clocks for repairs.

Not enough clearance between weights and pendulum on this custom made grandfather clock. Very neat and beautiful case. Added 3/4" thick block to gain that much more clearance. Then packaged for travel as client's grandchild is taking to residence in Florida. It's great to see pieces of art being paced to the next generation. Heirlooms are my favorite to work on.

1965–1975 Seiko 30-Day Pendulum Wall Clock with Day-Date Calendar made in Senior Japan was bought by client's father while deployed in Japan. Was not running correctly. Cleaned, oiled, adjusted and ran for 8-days. Then returned to local client before their Christmas family gathering. Received a great thanks to hear it running again.

This 1880-1920 made French-Style Crystal Regulator Mantel Clock was bought at local auction and was not running. After cleaning, I found and replaced one worn bushing. Base plate was rusted and numbers scratched in. Wish I took a finished picture of restored plate. Ran for 8 days and returned back to client.

Music box and chimes were sounding awful on this 1960s–1980s Black Forest 8-day Cuckoo Wall Clock. The woodscrews came loose from the music box. Added machine screws and tuned tines. Ran properly for eight days and returned back to local client.
