This is my favorite project. The handmade book club’s June project is an art book and the subject is “beverage.” Tea automatically came to mind. I love it.
Texas sweet tea made with English Earl Grey and English Lady Grey tea with lots of sugar and ice. It’s a daily, but there are days when I’m chilly or under the weather that hot tea is a must. I have a few lovely cups to brew my favorites and these are a few of those.

Wait… why have I NOT been collaging directly on the gel plate sooner?!

After watching Mark Wills at the Gel Printers Summit (hosted by Drew Steinbrecher), I finally tried it—and now I’m hooked.

This was my first attempt at collage right on the plate, and it opened up a whole new way of working with my prints.

I’ve already created a larger piece (coming soon), and learned a few tricks that will make the next one smoother.

But honestly?
The fun is in the experimenting… and getting better each time you show up.
