There’s something about a cozy loveseat, warm wood tones, and a collection of hand-carved wooden bowls that just feels like home. This little vignette came together beautifully, with layers of texture, rich natural finishes, and just enough greenery to bring it all to life. Good morning, Parsnippidy-ers!!

Parsnippidy is officially closed today... at least that's what the sign says. The truth is, after a trailer FULL of treasures, a barn pickin', and enough dust to qualify as its own weather system, we are spending the day trying to remember what color everything was before the scrubbing began! Between blackberry and cream, coffee, and a growing appreciation for soap and water, we're keeping the doors closed—but we're still taking appointments today, June 24th, from 10–2.

If you've been wanting to shop without the crowds, today is your lucky day. Just don't be surprised if you catch us negotiating with a particularly stubborn layer of barn dirt. Some of these treasures are putting up a fight! 🤣 A little coffee, a little cleaning, and a whole lot of treasure hunting—that sounds like a very Parsnippidy kind of day.

Good morning, Parsnippidy-ers!

After a day of rest and recharge, we're finally starting to feel a little more human again! The coffee is working, the energy is returning, and we're ready to tackle the mountain of treasures waiting for us.

And when we say a trailer full... we mean a TRAILER FULL. We went barn pickin' Saturday evening and came home with all sorts of unique, quirky, old-soul goodies. Unfortunately, every single one of them seems to have arrived wearing a thick coat of authentic barn dirt. Apparently, dust was included at no extra charge.

So today will be spent cleaning, scrubbing, dusting, polishing, and then doing some more scrubbing. Did we mention the scrubbing? Because there's a LOT of scrubbing.

Parsnippidy Junkin'Co is closed today, Tuesday, June 23rd, while we wrestle decades of barn dust into submission. But don't worry—we ARE taking appointments from 11–4!

Wish us luck... and maybe send extra coffee. We have a feeling we're going to need it. The treasures are worth it... even if the dirt is putting up a fight!

Well friends, Parsnippidy Junkin'Co is closed today while we do something that antique dealers rarely admit to... we're tired. Between the treasure hunting, furniture wrangling, dusting, hauling, pricing, staging, and answering the age-old question of "Where do you find all this stuff?" we've officially run our batteries down to the blinking red line.

So we're taking a couple of days to recharge our old souls and creaky knees. But don't you worry—we'll be right as rain by Thursday, coffee in hand and ready to fling open the doors for another New Chapter Thursday filled with fresh treasures, questionable lifting decisions, and all the vintage goodness you've come to expect.

Until then, be kind to yourselves, take a nap if you can, and remember... even old treasures need a little restoration now and then.
