I hope you all are doing great and enjoying this early spring weather lately.

Ruby and I are in full swing with our rewrite phase, the new blog theme is set up, and emails are going out next week, full course!

We should be wrapped up in about 4–8 weeks depending on what life at the cottage brings our way.

I'm praying for 4 weeks, but we shall see! We are working so hard for each and every one of you who reads these blog posts, and it truly means the world to us.

Improved posts start going live next week, and I cannot wait for you to see them!

YouTube should be back in June, and from there, everything should start flowing beautifully.

How has your year been going so far?

Any new projects? Life goals your wanting to check off?

We’re still working on a complete overhaul of 149 URLs on the blog. Thats my biggest goal for 2026.

Last year, life happened, and family came first. Fingers crossed all goes as planned!!

If everything goes as planned, we should finish by April. I’ll be back to sharing vlogs on YouTube by June!

Three years in the making! This is your sign to go after your dreams no matter how small or big they are. I’m sharing one of my life goals today with you. To learn how to bred heritage chickens into rainbow laying queens. Goal accomplished! Now to cherish these girls and treat them like the queens they are;). Go after that dream and enjoy life cause this is the only one we get;)!

I will be sharing something quietly over on The Cottage Hearth on Thursday, Jan. 29th. and wanted to share the link with you ahead of time.

It’s a longer, slower piece about sourdough beignets — the kind we enjoy year-round here on the Gulf Coast, not just during Mardi Gras.
