Lissette DelVecchio is the founder and principal designer of Chez [shey] Lissette, a full service interior design firm based in Long Island. With over a decade of experience, Lissette services new build, remodeling and decorating projects, creating stylish and sophisticated spaces rooted in classic design principles, but tailored to modern living.

A graduate of Cornell University's Interior Desi

gn program, Lissette began her career in residential architecture, specializing in the finishing of new build homes. She has trained with leading designers in high-end, luxury residential interiors, and spent many years in the home furnishings retail industry. Every detail from design to execution is thoughtfully considered. The result is finished spaces that are primed to be enjoyed by the people who inhabit them.

Lissette is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and a two-time recipient of the Ethan Allen Design Excellence Award. Projects include private residences from Long Island to Manhattan's Upper East side, spanning out to Westchester and Connecticut.

Welcome to the kitchen of project Robbin Lane - black and white and chic all over! The stunning leathered granite counter and backsplash is truly the star of this space, but don’t overlook the other subtle details, like the plaster finish on the pendants or the textured counter stools. It’s the combination of elements and how they work together that make a space sing!

Summer temps are upon us here in the Lowcountry, and this is the time to take advantage of all the outdoors has to offer - beach days, weekend entertaining, hiking trails, family time (and even alone time) out in nature. PROCESS • How we take a project from BEFORE to AFTER. What you don’t see here are the months of planning and preparation that it takes to get to construction - taking the time to understand the needs of clients, documenting the space, and of course the countless details that go into the design!

In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, we are pulling one from the archives to share with you this little cutie of a kid’s bathroom. Green is not a color we use often at Chez Lissette, but in the space it’s adds the perfect touch of whimsy. This grass-green hue feels crisp against the black and white, and evokes that light and fresh feeling of Spring.

This small vestibule provides access to the powder room, garden on the side of the house, an opening into the den, and one additional space. To keep it from being overrun with doors, we created a pair of hidden doors that are covered in the same wallpaper as the walls. It is seamless to the eye.
