Eeeek..
Plot Twist Plan Z™ is starting to take shape:
The Wild Rose is going Home.
Over the last several months I’ve been contemplating some major changes for the business, what I value most, what actually makes sense eCoNoMiCaLlY, what the community actually needs, and how it could all look..
There was plan A, plan B, a less-than-desirable plan C, and then there was Plot Twist Plan Z that wasn’t an actual plan but an open mind for something I hadn’t previously thought of..
and guess which one is emerging 🙂🌍
The Wild Rose is transitioning to a home-based studio on 5th street.
It won’t be the current business relocated to my house, it’s a different model but with the same core products and services you already know and value.
Im converting our sunroom (which does have its own separate entrance) into a customer-facing studio and “showroom” for sympathy gifts and plants. I’ll be able to do consultations here as well and I can’t wait to make it an inviting space.
My workshop and storage cooler will be in my basement. I really look forward to that being out of sight 😃
Losing spontaneous walk-in sales is a real trade-off, but releasing the overhead of a storefront takes significant pressure off the business, and gives me back idle hours. Personally really looking forward to keeping up with housework and cooking more again 🥰
Most importantly, The Wild Rose is still a full-service florist.
I’ll continue offering custom arrangements, plants, sympathy gifts, funeral arrangements, weddings, prom, and anything you already call me for.
So, to put it simply:

🌹consultations by appointment
🌹sympathy gift showroom - call ahead/by appointment
🌹weekend availability if I don’t have anything better to do 😚
I’m genuinely excited about this change and feel so much peace about the decision.
I know it may be sad for some to see a storefront in our community close, but I’m confident it’s the right move for now.
I’ll be sharing the whole process with photos, videos, and updates, so stay tuned. you’ll be seeing more of me on here as this is how I’ll stay connected
