The smallest of the three. Turned from green cherry wood grown in Maine. The outside has a subtle texture and I painted it with black milk paint (finally got over my ick of adding milk to anything 😅). Definitely inspired by a pottery piece I made a while ago (swipe to see).

This cherry vessel was burned slightly on the outside, revealing the gorgeous grain pattern and color. The inside and bottom have been burned harden and have been scrubbed smooth so there’s no more soot on the piece. Finished with oil and fully turned on the lathe.
