We’re excited to welcome a talented new artist to the Unwined family! 🎨✨

Meet Clare Hoerl , whose beautiful miniature watercolor prints are as charming as they are unique. Each tiny piece is carefully framed and features everything from coastal favorites and wildlife to local landmarks.

One of our favorite parts? Clare has started a Sykesville Series, capturing some of the buildings and places we all know and love in her signature watercolor style. They’re the perfect little keepsake, gift, or conversation piece.

These adorable mini framed prints are now available at Unwined in a variety of subjects—and trust us, they’re even more impressive in person.

Some days, the best reminder of what makes Main Street special isn’t a big event—it’s a simple act of kindness.

Yesterday I got a 15-minute heads-up that a pallet of candle jars was being delivered. I rushed over, expecting to spend the next half hour hauling heavy boxes inside by myself.

Just as I started opening the pallet, my friends from Barrier-Free came walking up the street.

“Need some help?”

Box after box, everyone jumped in, and in what felt like two minutes, the entire pallet was inside. By the time I was ready to grab my first case, they had already done the work.

That’s who they are.

If you’ve spent any time in Downtown Sykesville , you’ve probably seen the Barrier-Free crew out enjoying Main Street, supporting local businesses, lending a hand, or heading to the river with goggles and tubes for a summer float. They bring smiles wherever they go, and yesterday they reminded me just how lucky we are to have them as part of our community.

Thank you to every one of you who stopped to help. Your kindness didn’t just save my back—it made my day.

Come celebrate America’s 250th and catch the Let Freedom Ring Parade, kicking off at 10 AM.

After the parade, stop in and see us—we’ll be open 10 AM–4 PM. Whether you need a host gift, a fresh summer scent for the house, citronella candles for the cookout, or just want to browse, we’d love to have you.

Looking for a fun, hands-on summer activity? Join us at Unwined Candle Co. for a creative experience kids won’t forget!

Campers (ages 6–13) will:
• Learn the basics of candle making
• Choose their own fragrance
• Pour and decorate an 8 oz candle
• Take home an exclusive Camp T-shirt
• Walk with us to Firehouse Creamery for ice cream to celebrate!

• July 30
• August 6

🎟️ $60 per child
👧 Ages 6–13
👥 Limited to just 15 campers per session
