Something about traditional tiles is so romantic

Where would you use this Portuguese tile?

My design philosophy is all about balance. If you love tradition but also are a forward thinker, there’s nothing wrong with mixing traditional and contemporary finishes. I’d easily use this tile on a bathroom floor and choose super modern cabinetry. The contrast is what creates excitement.

How can you make a space more relaxing? Add a fire element. The noise of the crackling fire eases the mind and it’s so pretty to look at.

With interior design, finding those luxury moments no matter how small, will make the difference between liking your space and falling in love with the space every time you walk in. 💛

Give thanks to your current environment and your past environment. While not perfect, they have helped shape the person you are today and that is amazing.

Moving forward, don’t overthink your design decisions. Thats why we have budgets, concepts, deadlines and goals. They aren’t mean to limit our vision. Rather, they are meant to define our goals to something achievable and realistic. ❤️

Don’t think for a second that you are a stagnant creature incapable of change.

I’m going to post my piece about style later. The important thing about style is that it’s communicating your perception. “Here is where I am right now” “here is how I want to live my life”.

And it shouldn’t be too serious either. Since you are always changing your interiors should be just as flexible. Allow your style to wander and have fun ✨

So with your interiors, it’s the exact same. Don’t get caught up with how pure the style is. Everything shouldn’t be too “matched”. It’s one note and you are many notes, so let’s see your music 🎶
