🎀 Dolly Holiday Season 🩷

🌟 Gearing up for another fabulous season of fantastic events around Kitsap County. Most of these markets and partnerships have become a repeat tradition for me as I find my customers and market partners I love working with!

🥜 Tomorrow night I kick off the holidays with Gathered by Josephine’s and Nayeli Rivera - adding my festive holiday DIY to the 10th annual Jo’s Holiday Gala! The make-and-take events are the most fun I have with this side hustle. I absolutely love meeting new people and watching them find a spark of joy in designing a bobble of their very own. I’ll be back at Gathered by Josephine’s again in December for Holiday on the Bay!

🗓️ The rest of November I’ll be spending churning out some new products and craft kits. Those were a big hit last year and I’ve got some new ideas. Then come December I’ve got 2 markets and 2 DIY/classes…possibly a 5th event…. This year I’ll be back at Tipsy Blackbird W**e Bar to host a class - this time making custom bespoke vintage inspired holiday centerpieces. Eventbrite link coming soon! This will feel similar to last years wreath workshop but a bit wackier.

📣I’m also very excited to partner up again with Makerhaus this year. Last year we connected late in the season but managed to stock some of my craft kits and a few ornaments. This year I’ll be hanging at MakerHaus during Magic in Manette for my make-and-take event.

🔔 Kick off the holiday season with me in Port Orchard this week. For only $10-15 you can take home a personalized custom, vintage-inspired walnut ornament. You select from my delightful buffet of miniatures and I assemble it for you! All ages and no experience or reservations needed, just pop in!

🎬 Behind the scenes here I’m in turbo mode working away glittering my walnut shells and hot gluing my fingers to themselves to prep for the event to make it as magical and fabulous and bigger than ever!!! I can’t wait to see you there!

🐟 Halloween 2026 ~ The Rainbow Anglerfish! 🌈

🌟 This project really tested my patience and sculpture and sewing skills! Like Leslie Knope once said, “I’m big enough to admit I’m often inspired by myself.” And well, same! I’m quite pleased with how this turned out and it may have even topped my pumpkin candy bucket from last year!

🧵 Using a sequin dress I already had I found the same dress on Poshmark so I would have fabric to match my fish head with the dress. The frame is made from wood caning sculpted in layers and taped together with strong masking tape. I hand stitched an underlayer of fabric to the entire piece, then the sequin scales layer, and lastly the fin and tail ruffles. The eyes are made from aluminum foil colored with sharpie and topped with plastic bowls from the dollar store. The light is attached by more of the wood caning painted blue with a tuft of the fin fabric on the end to encase the small battery operated light!

🎉Shout out to for the tutorial and costume idea. I’m so glad I stumbled on her amazing content and art showcasing a whole school of fish wife costumes!

🤎 🥼Mud Lab Bremerton is my new favorite artistic community incubator. Some future collabs with this awesome place may be brewing…we shall see!

🖼️Sherri Gamble is the amazing artist behind the Mudlab. I have been to her space multiple times for art walk and she has always made me feel so welcome. A brand new but somehow familiar and comforting place where new friends awaited. She always remembered me every time and it speaks volumes to her character and energy. She’s a brilliant human, artist, and teacher!

💕 So after popping in randomly over the last few months, I finally found the time to join an open studio session with some girlfriends to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The creative freedom paired with expert coaching and guidance made for a truly special afternoon with friends new and old.

🎨 The drop in sessions on Sundays and Fridays are only $30 for 3-4 hours of clay play time! And $25 to come and glaze your piece once your piece is fired. I might now be obsssed with yet another new medium and I will for sure be back Mudlab. 🤩

🏺My apocalyptic farmers market tote bag vase I made here was inspired by something I found on Pinterest. It cost me less to make it than it would to buy it, and now I will have a custom piece of personal and functional art. I can’t wait to see how the layers of watercolor turn out after glazing and firing in a couple weeks!!

💐 Harvest Festival Complete ✅

🌺 I was so honored to donate my time and resources to bring joy to my community today. Bremerton, I love you and Kitsap Community Food Co-op I love you too! A huge thanks to all the co-op volunteer helpers, I couldn’t have done it without the support at my booth! It was popping all day. I will definitely be back next year with more flower power! 🌺

🫶I met so many wonderful and beautiful new friends today. This little peanut is Brooke, is a friend’s kiddo and she was an utter delight and the perfect little flower queen!

📸 I was non-stop busy all day helping people make the crowns of their dreams. So if anyone who attended the event got pictures or videos of me please send me a DM or post and tag my page! I’d love to see everyone in their crowns!!

💐 Summer may be over….

🎄 But don’t be sad, because that means the holidays are around the bend! I’m enjoying the last of my summer garden harvest and late season blooms. I’m lingering in the moment as much as possible before my side hustle busy season picks up steam.

🌞 I also recently had the joy of meeting a new friend Kyla, with Kyla Price. Her business model for bloom bars is made possible by mutual aid arrangements whereby she finds community members with extra garden plots to grow her flower inventory. She came by my house this week and we had so much fun chatting and talking about possibilities to partner with my garden space.

🌿 She also reminded me I had so much bounty to enjoy in my garden and I should be finding all the ways I can to appreciate nature’s beauty. So that inspired me to make this fall arrangement from my dahlias, zinnias, nasturtium, and aromatics!

🫶Savor the moment and the season you’re in, whatever that looks like!

Restaurant Lola always delivers a delicious meal and fabulous drinks! But I always enjoy the floral installations just as much as the food. The ambience, the service, the food, the simple elegant decor….no detail goes unplanned here and it’s worth it every time. Thank you Lola for making Bremerton more beautiful! 🫶

Exciting news!!!

Kitsap Community Food Co-op Fall Harvest Festival is coming to Bremerton next month October 3rd from 12-5.

I’m volunteering to bring some creativity energy to the event!
