We work directly with the Amish to design and create custom barnwood finishes for homes throughout North Georgia and beyond.
This is a project we completed a while back, and itโs still one of our favorites! ๐
For this home, we helped design and coordinate the custom reclaimed hardwood flooring and the hand-hewn ceiling beams. The flooring is beautiful mixtures of hardwoods like oak, chestnut and poplar, giving it incredible variation in color, grain, saw marks and character. No two boards are the same and that's exactly the WHOLE point!
These hand hewn beams completely transformed the space, adding that special character that you simply can't get from something mass-produced!
Our role is to make the custom process EASY. We work directly with the Amish craftsmen, help you with the design and selections, handle the communication and details, and coordinate everything through installation.
And we're not limited to floors and beams.
