After a whirlwind of a week, these words feel like a deep breath. No rushing, no lists, just a quiet heart and a reminder of who holds it all.

Wishing you a still and restful Sunday.

About Last Weekend... 🌸

Two days, two private workshops, and one very full heart. Saturday and Sunday brought together the loveliest groups of ladies, each one creating an orchid arrangement as unique as she is. Watching everyone’s designs come to life is my favorite part of what I do. 🌿

Thinking about gathering your friends for a private workshop? Send me a message and let’s talk!

A little road trip to Moultrie, Georgia was just what my heart needed. I spent a lovely visit with my friend Rebecca at The Proper House. Rebecca is the creative behind The Green Spade, and her seasonal containers left me with so many ideas for fall. We first met at the Thomasville Antiques Show, and it’s been such a joy to see that friendship grow.

Take the short drive to Moultrie and visit The Proper House...you'll be so glad you did!

Did you know you can book a private workshop with me? All you need is 6 or more friends ready for some fun in the dirt. Send me a message and let's set a date!

This past Saturday's private Staghorn Fern class was a perfect example. Great company, happy hands, and every lady left with a fern she made herself.

Tag the friends you'd want around your workshop table!

Join me at Brookwood Designs for a morning of orchids! We'll create your very own arrangement together, and I'll share everything I've learned about helping these beauties thrive. You'll head home with a gorgeous orchid and the confidence to keep it healthy and blooming, well into December. DM to sign up!

What a Saturday! Thirteen wonderful ladies joined me in the backyard to mount their very own Staghorn Ferns, and I couldn't have asked for a better day. The sun was shining, the conversation was flowing, and there was plenty of laughter (and a little bit of moss on everyone's hands 😄).

There's just something special about gathering outside, getting your hands dirty, and creating something living together. I hope each of you walked away with a fern you're proud of and a few new friends, too. 💚

Now hang those beauties somewhere they'll get bright, indirect light, and give them a good soak when they start feeling light. They'll reward you for years to come!

Thank you all for spending your Saturday with me. Stay tuned, there's more backyard fun coming soon! 🪴

The reality of gardening in the heat...😂

The backyard garden I created with my grandchildren was a huge success! I absolutely love to show them how to grow vegetables, herbs and flowers with their own hands. It's never too early to let them dig in the dirt!

Let me know if you've had a chance to share your love of gardening with any special young people....

There's something so special about creating for a space designed around calm. I recently had the joy of designing faux orchid arrangements for Dewstate — a stunning new med spa that is truly one of the most tranquil spaces I've had the pleasure of walking into. They wanted the elegance of fresh orchids without the upkeep, and faux blooms were the perfect answer. Sometimes low-maintenance doesn't mean less beautiful — it just means more time to breathe. 🌿

Congratulations on your gorgeous new space! I can't wait for everyone to see it in person.

It's time — the Fall Workshop Series is here! 🍂

I've got three ways for us to get our hands dirty and bring a little nature home this season: a Staghorn Fern Workshop, an Orchid Workshop, and a Woodland Container Workshop made with foraged mosses and lichen. Each one is a fun morning of learning, laughing, and leaving with something beautiful you made yourself.

Grab a friend and come play in the dirt with me! Spots are limited, so DM me to register and I'll get you all set.

Which workshop are you most excited about? Tell me below!
