I think one of the things I love most about being a designer is that I never really stop seeing the world through that lens.

Whether I’m traveling, having dinner somewhere beautiful, or simply enjoying a quiet morning at home, I’m always noticing something. A combination of colors, an interesting shadow, a little detail that someone else might walk right past.

And I love that. After all these years, design still finds its way into the most ordinary parts of my life. I hope it always does.

Every project brings its own personalities, conversations, challenges, and moments that remind me why I love this industry. Before a space takes shape, I spend a little time imagining what it could become. How it might feel to sit there, what might catch your eye, how someone could make it their own.
