For everyone who’s new here 🩷 More and more of you are joining me, so here are the answers to the questions I get all the time. Save this post! 👇

1. Where do I sell?
I promote my business on Instagram, Facebook & TikTok, and direct customers to my Etsy shop. I also get sales directly through Etsy.

2. How do I make my pieces?
My Plaster Making Tutorial on Etsy covers my ratios, how I remove bubbles, how I reinforce my pieces (no, it’s not PVA 😉), how to skip sanding, and much more. The tutorial also includes 7 bonus videos, including one where I talk about PVA glue.

3. What paint do I use? 🎨
Acrylic paint — my favorite is Apple Barrel, which I also use in my kits.

4. Can you make money doing this?
Yes! And you don’t have to sell online. You can sell to daycares, art studios, schools, kids’ events, craft fairs, local businesses, and more.

5. Where do I buy my supplies?
Mostly Amazon, plus some things from Temu & SHEIN. I also have a separate Etsy guide with links to my molds, packaging, paint containers, and tools.

6. What plaster do I use?
Plaster of Paris, usually from Home Depot or Lowe’s.

Eco resin can definitely be a great option for home projects or making decor pieces 😊 It can also work well if you’re making a small number of pieces

But when you’re producing hundreds of pieces for sale, material cost matters a lot. With my Plaster of Paris mix, I can keep the cost per piece much lower.

And when I need extra strength, I can simply add a strengthening additive to make the pieces lighter and stronger — without making the final price of my kits too expensive🩷

So for my business, Plaster of Paris works better for me😊

What materials do you work with? I’d love to hear what works best for you!

Plaster of Paris + water — mix it up and pour it into the mold. 🎨

Wait about 30 minutes, then carefully remove the pieces from the mold.

Let them dry completely for 3–5 days.

Glue on a magnet, paint, and bring your little creations to life! ✨

I recommend sealing them with varnish after painting for extra protection.

And that’s it! 🎃 Make them ahead of time so you’re ready for Halloween!
