We’re excited to announce the return of our Fire Explorer Post!

Today marked the beginning of a new chapter as we officially welcomed our first three Explorer members. While we’re starting small, we’re excited to help these future firefighters learn, grow and gain firsthand experience in the fire service.

Their first training day started with one of the most important lessons in the fire service…taking pride in the firehouse! The Explorers jumped right into station chores and learned the importance of keeping the firehouse clean, organized, and ready to respond at a moment’s notice.

After that, they were introduced to our first due engine, where they learned about the tools and equipment we use every day. They also received hands on instruction in properly donning and doffing SCBA equipment.

We’re proud to invest in the next generation of firefighters and look forward to watching these young men develop their skills, work ethic, and passion for serving their community.

Please join us in welcoming our newest Explorers! We are excited to see where this journey takes them!
