Good morning!

If you have had a hard time messaging us, I am so sorry. I dug I to this and there still was a way to message us but it wasn’t easy to find. I have fixed this.

Also our shop link was directing people to an old website that we had. (we may revive this sometime as our little business grows!) I fixed this too, we have our Etsy shop link in our bio where people can shop there if they would like. People can now order directly by messaging us if they would like too.

All the wax melts are back on the shelves and organized after yesterday’s vendor event!

Now I can see what needs restocked! Strawberry Guava, Frosted Juniper, Christmas Hearth, and Banana Nut Bread are first on my list to pour this week.

Thankfully, we still have a little of every scent available, so orders can keep coming in! ❤️

Every sale is a blessing, and we’re thankful to stay busy!

What a day! ❤️

We finished up today’s vendor event with 23 sales totaling $438!

One thing I want to start doing more of is being open and transparent with our numbers as we continue trying to grow Sweet Madelyn Candle Co. I am always curious when following other businesses so I thought it’s something I could try.

Now, that’s $438 in sales, not profit. We still have supplies, event fees, and other expenses that come along with running a small business.

We’re just a family trying to build something meaningful, one candle and one customer at a time.

Some days are good, some are slow, and there’s still a whole lot we’re learning along the way.

I never want to take a single sale for granted. Whether someone spends $4 or $40 with us, it truly means a lot.

We’re thankful for everyone who stopped by today, purchased something, or simply took a moment to talk with us.

I’m hoping to share more of our numbers and progress along the way. Maybe one day we’ll look back at these posts and see just how far we’ve come.

What an incredible day at Hay Day! ❤️

We finished with 23 sales totaling $438, and we truly can’t express how thankful we are!

To everyone who stopped by to chat, followed our page, made a purchase, or supported Madelyn by buying one of her handmade bracelets or earrings — THANK YOU! ❤️

Watching Madelyn proudly work at her little bead station made today even more special. We’re not just building a small business, we’re making family memories along the way!

I’m worn out tonight, but incredibly thankful! ❤️🕯️

It’s been one of those LONG days!

Got the kids off to school by 7 AM, worked on the candle business for a bit, and headed to my side job by 9 AM. Didn’t get home until 7 PM.

Had some dinner, headed straight to the basement, and just finished up 36 handmade soy candles in 6 different scents! 🙌

All just in time for tomorrow morning’s vendor event!

I’m tired, but this little family business is something I’m determined to keep growing.

We’re not a big company with fancy equipment or employees. Just a dad making candles in his basement, working long days, and dreaming of building something meaningful for his family. ❤️

A little behind-the-scenes reality at Sweet Madelyn Candle Co.! 🕯️❤️

This morning, I smoothed the tops of 18 freshly poured candles, and next up is trimming the wicks!

As you can see, our basement is a little chaotic right now. 😂 Candles everywhere, supplies that need reorganized, and definitely not the beautiful candle studio I dream of having someday.

But you know what? We’re thankful for this space and the opportunity to build something for our family, one candle at a time. ❤️

Tomorrow, we have another vendor event! I’ll be working my day job today, and when I get home tonight, it’s back to candle making!

✅ Trim the wicks on 36 candles
✅ Clean any excess wax from the jars
✅ Add labels, tie twine, and put on lids
✅ Pack everything up for tomorrow morning

It’s going to be a late evening, but it’s all part of the journey!

And the best part? My daughter Madelyn will be right there with me again tomorrow at our vendor event. ❤️

We’re not a big company with a fancy production facility. We’re just a family with a dream, working hard to turn something we love into something meaningful.

Every purchase, share, comment, and word of encouragement helps us get a little closer to that dream.

What started as a small side business and a simple dream has now turned into more than 400 Etsy orders, and we’re incredibly grateful to have maintained a 5.0-star rating from our customers along the way.

Every order, review, share, recommendation, and returning customer means more to our family than you probably realize.

Our dream is still the same: to continue growing Sweet Madelyn Candle Co. into something meaningful that helps support our family and allows us to keep doing something we truly enjoy.
