By the feel of my hair, I got a couple of topcoats of polyurethane, too. 🫪😵‍💫

At 44, I'm taking whatever win I can. 🏆😆🎂💕

I wanted laziness -- and I did get a lot more of that today than usual -- but life threw the things and here I am with a screwdriver 🪛 doing them.

But, honestly? It's okay. I'm grateful for the ability to be active in my own existence, to live this gift of blessing in the hard work. We are given things to caretake. It isn't a punishment. It's a gift.

So, YES. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME. 🥳🎉 I get to spend a lazy day with my kids and enjoy this home (in all of its comforts and work) that was GRANTED to us through God's grace and mercy and love.

I just hope I can do Him proud by taking care of it best I can. 🙏🏽💛🛠️🏡

But did he do it?!

🏆 Winning.

September was our first month ACTUALLY OPEN: posted shop hours, full time service, new customers, referred projects. Before that, our timing was sporadic, availability narrow.

But the books don't lie. For a real first month, LYS is feeling the blessing 🙌🏽 and we can't wait to see what this next month has in store for us.

Scuff sand » gel stain » sparkle ✨.

A customer came into the furniture store last week looking for a dresser but couldn't find a new one that fit her taste. But this used dresser we had? Just right... except the color.

We can fix that! 😏

Now she gets to pick her own pull hardware and the stain color she's looking for.

Can't wait to deliver on this piece. 😁👏🏽

Full natural drawer fronts. 🪵✨

Can't wait to show you the colors we've picked for the rest. 🤩

We just KNOW you're going to love this pair of nightstands when we're done. 🥰
