Shouting a loud THANK YOU to the Belton HEB floral department!!!
Belton HEB donated flowers to our Blooming Broncos floral department which allowed all of our students to experience more hands on activities. Students were able to design a variety of arrangements as well as make bouquets that were gifted to our teachers, staff, and administration to show our appreciation!

Blooming Broncos Floral Department has had a BUSY past month of designing! Overall our students created NINE HUNDRED and FORTY EIGHT (948) arrangements between all the events we were a part of. We are so blessed by the partnerships we’ve been privileged to design for and the students work that has been showcased.
We also completed our first monthly design in our Princples of Floral Design class.

🌾5 fall arrangements for the Bell County Superintendents luncheon created by our Practicum in Floral Design students!
🎃TWO HUNDRED and EIGHTY FOUR (284) Halloween/October arrangements completed by our Principles in Floral Design, Advanced Floral Design, and Practicum of Floral Design students!
🎉TWO HUNDRED and EIGHTY FOUR paper mums by all Floral Design classes where they had to research homecoming traditions for other schools in Texas!

Little late posting with the craziness of the end of the year and a tornado. This is the May FOM! They were a lot of fun and the students loved creating them. Pretty sure it was our customers’ favorite design this year. They were even prettier in person.

We are so excited to be celebrating TSFA Member's Success. Texas State Floral Association Past President Norman Northen, Texas Master Florist Advanced, has designed in floral retail for five decades, with dedicated service to his customers, TSFA and the floral industry. His retirement was recently celebrated at Precious Memories Florist and Gift Shop in Temple, TX. Join us on May 7 from 2:30 – 3:30pm for the dedication of the Jack Rider Claycomb Floral Library, contributed by Becky and Norman Northen TMFA in memory of their grandson, son of Elisa and Rodger Claycomb, who passed away last fall. The ceremony and a floral program celebrating 50 years of flowers will be held in the Lake Belton High School Commons Area at 9809 FM 2483 in Temple. The floral library will be housed at Lake Belton HS and will be available for the high school floral programs at both Lake Belton High School and Belton High School. You are invited to be part of this floral library dedication in memory of Baby Jack and in celebration of Norman Northen TMFA.

And the last post of the week, LBHS Athletic Banquet! There were 45 of these school spirited centerpieces that were very festive including a glittered horseshoe accent. Student will be involved in two huge events next week. Be on the look out for pictures.
